Summary: This is one of the best items I have bought. It is attractive and best of all it keeps near perfect time, I have set it to the second by an atomic clock and over a 15 day period it has gained 3 seconds. As a pilot, that is very important to me. I have used Sieiko watches for many years, all have been good enough to keep me coming back, the last one lasted ten years of very rough service.
Summary: Needed a new work-a-day watch after my Seiko Kinetic watch required 2 $90 repairs from faulty capacitors. Watch is very attractive with charcoal face. Band is good qualty and adjusted free of charge by tatooed and pierced Walmartian. Had it a month and accurate to 15 seconds per month. Most solar watches have a life span of 5-7 years. Happy with purchase.
Summary: Watch is good looking, although the dial is not as dark as it appeared on my computer screen. Perfect timekeeping - after 3 weeks, still within 1 second of correct time. Rubber seals never fit properly on battery powered watches after replacing battery - this won't be a problem with a solar watch. The watchband is adjusted by removing links. I was able to do this using a small jeweler's screwdriver as a punch but link removal tools are available for sale.
Summary: This watch looks just as great in person as it does online! I bought it as a gift for my husband and he loves it! It's so unique with the charcoal face..gorgeous!Amazon.com had the best price for the same quality!
Summary: So far I am very pleased with this watch. I bought it as a surprise for my boyfriend and I was worried because he is very picky, but he LOVES this watch! It is very attractive (much more so than the picture) and the fact that it is solar, rather than battery operated, is definitely a plus. My boyfriend spends most of his time in the office, but the watch is still able to get enough light to function without any issues so far.
Summary: I've been wearing Seikos since I was a teenager and a titanium kinetic Seiko for the last ten years. I was intrigued by the solar concept but concerned that the stainless steel case would be objectionably heavy. Turns out the watch is surprisingly light and comfortable to wear. The blend of the two tones is attractive and the charcoal face is distinctive yet classy. It's been running since it came out of the box!
Summary: My husband lost his watch, so for his birthday I bought him this one. It wasn't very expensive but I thought it would be functional and attractive. Well, he LOVES it! Now he wants to buy another watch for every day use because he doesn't want to mess this one up when he's working around the house. I have to admit, it is very elegant looking, I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is.
