Summary: Great timekeeper. In one months time and clocked against WWV atomic timer in Colorado.( a world timekeeper standard) my watch lost almost a half of a minute. Not bad, 26 seconds lost in 30 days! Its a handsome mens watch, but the blue face is very dark and it could have been a wee bit lighter.
Summary: Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Color was significantly darker than the picture shown. Almost looks black. Also not a huge fan of the wiring noise the watch makes, but got used to it after a while. The watch is absolutely gorgeous. Very happy with this purchase. Didn't come with any warranty information which concerns me a little. But I've had a Seiko myself for a couple years now. Never had any problems with it. So hopefully, it won't be a big deal.
Summary: If you like a functional watch then this is the one. Easy to read time, day and date....and a Kinetic battery charge that keeps the watch running as long as it is worn. To date my watch is about 80% charged and the time is accurate to the second. Adjusting the watch band is not easy, there are arrow indicators on the back of the links showing directions of release. I found no information in the operating instructions, but figured out how to make the adjustment.
Summary: Another reviewer remarked that the character of a watch is determined by its complications, a sentiment I agree with after owning a Seiko Kinetic. This watch is very accurate: I notice a slight variance because I sync all my watches monthly to Fort Collins, but for the average guy this ought not be a major issue. The stainless steel case and bracelet give it a comfortable heft, and looks great as a casual, active, or dressy affair. An all-around great buy.
Summary: This is a very nice looking watch. The quality is very good and it's very precise. But the problem is that it is very easy to scratch. I did not find any analog of this model on the Seiko web site, so I assume it's old outdated and outsourced model - for real one that is a brand new model, you need to spend at least twice as much.
