Summary: This is one of Seikos' most collectible item. If discontinued, it will certainly fetch a great collectors base.. Get one now and save it for later. Also, it is without a doubt an eye-catcher, basiclly due to the striking orange and and its 4 o'clock bezel position.I havent tried the 200m water...
Summary: Before buying this watch, I saw it in the display case at my closest AAFES store; it is a striking watch, large and heavy, easy to read (even without my specs), and very nice looking. I purchased my Seiko Orange Monster on Amazon where it cost just about half of what that one cost.
Summary: I've had the watch for several weeks now. Nice size, feels heavy/substantial. The orange face looks great next to the blue cuffs of my Oxford buttondowns. The crystal is recessed a bit from the bezel, so I'm hoping it will be less likely to scratch.
Summary: After my original Seiko diver died on me after 20 years, I was lost. No parts available for repair, what's a guy to do? I wanted a good diver that I wouldn't feel too bad about getting a few dings on. Some googling and I narrowed the field down to a few models.
Summary: It's hard to find a watch that has an orange face, has a large dial, is made with quality and is easy to see in all kinds of conditions. I love this watch! I bought it because I couldn't see the hands on my other watch due to glare, and my aging eyes.
Summary: I previously had a Rolex 16610LV prior to this. I researched for quite some time on the various watch boards, and came to the conclusion that for under $200, the fit and finish on the Monster absolutely could not be beat! It arrived in great shape, but has quite a few links in it.
Summary: This watch in a good looking time-piece that fits well, has a nice 'heft' to it and makes a great addition to my collection. It was received promptly as advertised and I have no complaints either with the service or the watch.
