An everyday, everywhere timepiece

  • Summary: I purchased the Seiko Midsize Diver (SKX013K2) from Creation Watches online for about $170 6 months ago. It arrived from Singapore about 2 wks after ordering. The watch case (36mm) is aptly sized for my smaller wrist. I had to size the bracelet of course. The piece is rugged and hefty yet elegant. It goes with me into the pool, shower, woods, and then out to dinner. The design of the hands and marks aren't strikingly luxurious like a higher end designer watch.

Seiko SKX013 Divers

  • Summary: I bought this watch as a "I'm going to be poor for quite some time" present. I figured it would be nice to spoil myself a little before work, school, moving etc and I must say that I made the right purchase. Being one to research a product I spent a week searching hours to get the good and bad on this watch. The bad was all about buyers complaining it feels too light, face is too small and the case is too tall, or it doesn't keep good time.

Seiko - Great Time Piece

  • Summary: I have a 6.5" wrist. I didn't need a gigantic watch. Most of the diver watches seemed to be too big. The movement in this watch is great. Really accurate loosing about 1 second every 4 days. The movement is virtually silent. None of that annoying ticking during silent times. The luminescence is really bright and stays lit quite a while after charging. The second hand pointer is set closer to the center of the watch so it can be seen easier even at night.

  • Summary: I love this watch ..Its much nicer in person....its the perfect size for me ...36mm thats pretty small for a mans divers watch....but its a perfect size for me...no one can go wrong when buying a seiko watch they are well made and last for years. the automatic movement is working great so far , i like automatic watches but the quartz movement { in my opinion } is much more accurate. You will get what you paid for with this watch, good quality, good looking.

Noble Timepiece!

  • Summary: This little medium Seiko tool-watch shares a place which only some few dozen heritage watches can share. And yet it's still made today, following from very closely through 4 variants in the last thirty years or so. It's now using the same caliber 7S26B movement as the full-large size SKX007, SKX009, SKX173 etc. It's for me like a lower cost and weight alternative to a DOXA diver.

Well.............it looks good

  • Summary: I bought this watch 3 years ago around Christmas. A dive watch was an ideal fit for me because I occasionally jump in the ocean and pools and don't like to take my watch off. The appearance still looks great. When I bought the watch it had serious band issues. I took it to a Seiko outlet mall store I came across to see if they could fix the band, they did a minor fix. Then I had to send it in.....twice. Just the other day it stopped.

Seiko #SKX013 Men's Midsize Diver

  • Summary: I purchased this watch from JustCalculators through Amazon. Vendor responded promptly, adjusted the bracelet free of charge and the watch arrived as promised. The watch is accurate to + or - 8 secs per day. Fine for an automatic mechanical movement. Everything on the watch is right. The bezel lines up correctly when moved, hands line up with minute and hour markers correctly, etc. Size is just right for a 7" wrist.

  • Summary: Bought this watch Jan of 2008 to replace my husband's 30+ year old diving watch from Seiko. The watch does not keep correct time, no matter how much he wears it. NOT what I expect from Seiko. [ this could be really dangerous during a dive!!
