  • Summary: This watch is fantastic. Perfect size and detailing. I have owned several other Seikos and they never fail to impress.

Great looking highly durable watch

S. Brock "rabbit's foot", amazon.com

  • Summary: I was hesitant buying this watch, because the crystal is hardlex. But I have bumped and dropped this watch tons of times with no scratches on the crystal. I only have scratches on the bezel where the numbers are. Otherwise the watch looks new. There have been no problems with time keeping or luminescence. I really like this watch and highly recommend it.

Very Pleased With This Watch

Magnum, amazon.com
4 June 2011
  • Summary: I bought this watch a couple of months ago to act as an interim dive watch (My old Omega Seamaster was out for a much needed overhaul) and I have to say I am extremely pleasantly surprised. I love the Kinetic drive and the fact the power cell will run for years without needing to be replaced. Much better for the environment, and it is simply convenient. I am not easy on my watches, and one of my pet peeves is mineral crystals and how easily they can be scratched.

Great Watch!

  • Summary: The minute I saw this watch I liked it, but was reluctant to buy online. The watch arrived today, beautifully packaged. I own several high end watches and was looking for an everyday watch. This watch exceeded my expectations. The quality and workmanship is top notch and it is very comfortable. Coud not be more pleased.

Good Watch, Bad Seller

R. Grossman, amazon.com

  • Summary: This is a great watch. I have a similar watch (silver case, same band and face) that I lost. I bought this as a replacement and it is a great watch. When I later found my silver one (it went through the washer), I decided to keep them both. Since the silver one made it through thw washer just fine, I imagine this one would too. However, I strongly recommend you buy it from a vendor other than bluedial watches.

Great watch, Great value.

Max C. Kwiatkowski, amazon.com

  • Summary: I am very happy with this watch. Very sturdy, looks great, quality build and finish. It is bigger than other dive watches I've seen. Keeps great time. The only negative Thing I could possibly try and come up with is that it takes a long time to fully wind. I would recommend this watch.

Handsome, Rugged Value

Anon, amazon.com
11 April 2010
  • Summary: I've been wearing this watch, purchased from one of Amazon's partners, for about two weeks. I'm fairly abusive towards watches, having broken my original G-Shock when I was 10, running through a bunch of Swatches during an unfortunate "tween" fashion tragedy period in the 1980s, having my classic Rolex stolen out of a hotel in Alaska and, in the ultimate insult, losing my crappy Timex Iron Man at Scores in New York ten years ago.

Great watch with looks and quality worth far more than the low price I paid!

  • Summary: After looking at a bunch of Seiko Kinetic watches over the years and not finding the styling suited to my taste, I found this watch and quickly decided it had to be part of my collection. Previously I had a Seiko Blue Samurai (blue face, automatic, titanium case and band, diver) that I had purchased in Japan in 2004 and it remains one of my favourites.

What Seiko do best.

Steel Squirrel "TPW", amazon.co.uk
17 November 2011
  • Summary: The Seiko SKA427P2 is a mid range diver's watch driven by Seiko's kinetic power movement. This is an ideal system for powering a diver's watch : it gives you all the advantages of a mechanical automatic system along with the associated accuracy of a electronic quartz movement (generally, the down side of any battery powered diver's watch is that it can prove expensive having the water resistant seals renewed every time you have to change the battery.
