For under a hundred, you're getting a dive watch that's well finished with an in house movement.

Summary: Any watch enthusiast will tell you a company that makes their own movements in house scores extra points. With the exception of Seiko and Orient, this is mostly reserved to high end swiss brands that costs thousands upon thousands of dollars. Orient allows you to own a well-made and aesthetically pleasing divers watch that has a very reliable 21 jewel in house movement that so far seems very reliable and accurate enough.
Summary: Waited a month to receive the watch, came defective, couldn't set the time.It seems that the crown was completely broken at the very beginning. The watch looks nice though. Will be returning for a replacement.
Summary: I can't imagine you could get a better mechanical watch for under $100. First, it looks good. The finishing and design are well done; this watch is much more handsome than the Amazon pictures would suggest, and is on the suave rather than militaristic end of the dive watch design spectrum. The size is perfect, and it is comfortable to wear.
Summary: I have had my Orient 'Blue Mako' for 10 days now.I have gone swimming with it,no problems.I have received many compliments about it.It has lost about 5 seconds since I have started wearing it.It actually keeps better time than my 2 Seiko dive watches. If this keeps up,I'll definitely purchase another Orient watch.
Summary: I like this watch a lot and use it for diving and swimming. Orient is a reputable Japanese brand. These watches have been sold in South America for decades. This particular watch looks better on your wrist than in photos. The tone of the blue color is kind of elegant. It feels a fine and durable product. I can say time keeping it's accurate. You can't go wrong with this watch.
Summary: The picture online doesn't do this watch justice. The quality is sublime; something you might see in a 400 dollar watch. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is what surprised me the most. This was my first Orient, but certainly not my last.
Summary: mako came a week later than scheduled. so excited to open the box. i scrutinized my blue mako. lo and behold! 3 dents! not scratches, but dents on the blue bezel. does it mean my mako is a used one? how can it have 3 dents when it is supposed to be brand new? 3 stars. with the movement, so far so good. this is my first automatic watch and it took me more than two weeks to choose between an invicta 8926 and this blue mako.
Summary: Very nice watch, great price from Amazon. I'm a fan of Orient watches now, this being my first one. I was surprised how dark the blue is, looks black from 2 feet or more away, the picture on the Amazon listing is much lighter blue than it really is. So far, I'm getting 36 to 48 hours reserve time if I lay it flat on the dresser or table, keeps very close time otherwise. I could do without the blue dolphins on the band, will order a plain black band soon.
