Summary: A classic -- I bought this used and is "pre-update." I like this dial somewhat better than the newer one. Watch is very accurate, handsome, good positive clasp action. Luminous numbers could be brighter but it is, I think, seven years old. I own a Breguet and a Zenith for dress, and a Marathon as my beater. This one is for boating and swimming as it is rugged and very waterproof. My Breguet and Zenith are automatic because I admire the workmanship and precision.
This is one to ware everyday not to keep in the drawer to look at.

Summary: Got to be one of the finest made. I bought the quarts and it keeps perfect time, as well as my atomic watch. The autos are nice but can be expensive to maintain. They cannot keep accurate time as well as the quartz. I now own several omegas, this is my favorite. I put a rubber strap on it and now ware it all the time. You will love this watch.
Summary: I needed a diving watch. I didn't want to pay retail for a new watch. Omega had a good reputation and is reasonably priced as opposed to Rolex which is like wearing a doorknob on one's wrist and meant to be a piece of jewelery as opposed to a work watch. Rolexes are obnoxiously costly and need too frequent expensive servicing. Therefore it's financially stupid to use Rolexes for work.

Summary: I have wanted this watch or one like it since my dad owned one back in the 60's. Finally after 40 years I was able to buy this one...I am not dissapointed. It has a blue face like my favorite team The Gators and it doesn't hurt that James Bond wears one occasionally. The watch will last a lifetime and should pass on to my son.
