Omega : Constellation 95 (91/100)
31 August 2000
Excerpt: Omega quartz movement. I haven't opened it, so I can't comment on the quality of the finish. I will assume however, that it would be up to par with Omega's other movements. Very classicly inspired watch. Satin finished SS case with highly polished claws that also serve to secure the crystal and bezel to the case. Nicely designed integrated lugs. Engraved, black chomed Roman Numerals on the bezel.
Excerpt: A nicely embellished ETA 2892A2 with rhodium-plated surfaces (adds to longevity of components), circular graining. COSC Cert. Classic styling - 2x anti-reflective sapphire crystal, snap-on back, non-screw crown, wtr. res. 50M, crown a little small but nice-Omega signed. Observatory on back in relief. I love the subdued dial with very minute superluminova dots at hours and hands. Can be worn with a suit just as well as with a sweatshirt. Has lost about +/- 2secs.
