Cheap quality but looks good

Summary: Just got my Nixon Private SS Raw Steel watch. I purchased this model over the Chronicle SS raw steel mostly because it was 1/2 the price. The "stainless steel" is very light and feels hollow. However, the watch has a nice aesthetic. Had I seen it in person first, I probably wouldn't have bought it. But the Nixon brand does have some really cool-looking models that are hard to pass up. Too bad the quality is not as good as it looks.
Summary: This watch is classically styled - meaning it doesn't have a lot of adornment, well any. While it's true that it's a bit larger than I would like - this seems to be the current trend - anyhow, this helps make it easier to read and it seems to still tuck nicely under sleeves on dress shirts. It's spartan so if you're buying it for an all-around watch be aware it doesn't have: date, day of the week, light, timer, stopwatch, alarm. It just tells time and looks good.

Summary: Great watch, I really like it. Only issues I have had, is occasionally when I reach into my pocket to retrieve something, the button for setting the time comes loose, and the watch stops, but this is mainly do to the watch being somewhat loose on my wrist right now, I need to get it fitted properly. All in all though, comfortable, and stylish.
Summary: I was really surprised at how sleek this watch looked when I got it. I don't think the picture does it justice and the face was just the right size. It was also very light which again you can't tell by the picture. Of course the biggest plus was that he loved it!!!
