Summary: I bought this watch with military durability in mind. Nothing could be further from the case. The watch came defective, second hand would not work, so I had it fixed at my cost thought it was a fluke. With- in fifteen days of it being fixed the luminosity of both hands failed. Less than a year old.
Summary: I purchased this watch for work and I am completely satisfied. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but it was well worth it. I like the size, it fits good and the visibility is great. The only thing I didn't like was that the watch tends to slide a little to the side of your wrist. But nothing too bad.
Summary: It looked good in the picture. The "Navy Seal Watch" claim was appealing. However the actual product looked and felt cheap. At 1/10th of the price, I could get a higher-quality watch from Casio or Citizen. I am returning it.
Summary: Saw the Luminox watches over a year ago. Found the illumination system interesting. Liked the look of the watch as well. Wanted to buy one but could not justify the somewhat high cost. From time to time searched the net for good prices. Latest search found the watch I wanted at a very good price. Bought it! Very happy I did. Great looking watch. Comfortable. And looks awsome in the dark!
Summary: It would be better if lights were brighter during night. I have had a l ot of fun with the watch, I purchased it as an christmas gift for my husband. He was very surprised, and is happy with it. He longed it for years.
Summary: I gave this watch to my boyfriend for Christmas. He does a great deal of outdoors activities....hunting, fishing, etc. I wanted to give him something that had style and durability. This had both. Very pleased with it so far. The numerals glow brightly enough to be seen clearly at night.
Summary: Great size, great feel, rock solid and comfortable to wear. Goes everywhere with me and I never take it off. Planning on buying another one sooner or later (namely the 8813) just because I want one. PolyCarbon case is non conductive for work with batteries, electrical and EOD situations. My wife loves it as well. I use firearms quite frequently and the watch stands up to constant recoil and shock abuse. If SigArms or Springfield made watches this would be it.
