Summary: Ordered this watch, got it from MrWatch. It's a fake. After I had it for 3 weeks, the battery died, I took it to Fred Meyer Jeweler to have battery replaced. The Watch Repairman (FM has a few real Watch guys), he opened it and showed me the insides. It was all plastic, MADE IN CHINA. Literally, everything INSIDE the watch was plastic (except the battery and contacts). Shame on me though, this happened to me once before with a Victorinox I bought through Amazon.
Summary: Just got this watch. As an owner of a small collection of watches( 20+) . I am always on the look out for a new one to add to my collection. I did not have a Luminox so I decided to give it a try. I like the retro styling of this watch and at 50 + years old I like how easy it is to read. I comes with a very handsome leather band that complements it well. It is easy to read in the dark which is a bonus feature. It is large but very light on my wrist.
Summary: I received the watch 3 days ago and have been wearing it ever since. Mr. Watch was fantastic to deal with. As for the watch, has anyone mentioned how huge it is? I measured my old watches and fretted about how ridiculous this tank might look on my wrist before ordering it, and so far only one friend has spontaneously pointed and laughed upon seeing it. Others have commented (only when prompted) that it is indeed large, but not comically so. I'm still not sure.
Summary: Great watch at a great price. you can't beat Amazon for their fast and dependable shipping. Luminox is one of the best values on the market for a mens timepiece. Amazon and Luminox is a combination tht can't be beat.
Summary: The watch is even nicer than it looks in the pictures. It has a large face but not overly so. Large faces are in fashion. Others think the watch is thick, I don't think it overly so, it is part of the rugged look. The watch is not at all heavy so it is comfortable to wear. The face is really sharp and crisp and easy to read. I like the ivory coloring, it's sort of vintage. This watch really glows bright and long.
Summary: I bought this watch never having seen one in real life. I couldn't be more happy with it. I had checked out reviews and pictures on line and decided to gamble. I have an Omega Seamaster and I've found that I can't enjoy it as much as I should because I'm always worried about scratching it. It is also a very heavy watch. This watch, while large in size is not overly heavy. I will say that it seems bigger than the 42mm would suggest.
Summary: I got tired of plastic digital watches and decided to get something with hands. I like this watch because the numbers and hands are large and black on the cream-colored face. It is an EXCELLENT timekeeper, normally gaining 3 to 4 seconds A MONTH. Setting it is pretty easy and once the day and date are set, you don't need to change anything except on months that have less than 31 days.
Summary: My wife bought me my first Luminox years ago, and I've worn it constantly. Now the light is fading and I needed a new one. Fortunately, this beautiful field watch is available and it is a better looking watch than any Rolex...plus the LIGHT. This is all I need in a watch. Very happy to have it. Thanks to Amazon for providing it.
Summary: When I received this watch I was absolutely stunned with how great the quality was. At first I wanted the black faced Field Luminox, but I wanted a brown band. Now that I have the watch I wouldn't have it any other way. The leather is rugged yet refined and can be worn as a casual watch or dress watch. I bought if for an everyday work watch and so far have had no problems with its performance and don't feel that it will break even in the field of construction.
Summary: Length:: 0:51 Mins Luminox Field 42mm 1827 Ivory Dial Brown Leather Mens Watch I've spent years trying to find the perfect watch. I'm a Marine so I've been through the Timex, all the G-shocks, and even a Victorinox Automatic. All of these pale in comparison to the Luminox 1827 Field Watch. It's got a rugged thick case, screw-down crown, and good down to 200 meters. But best of all is the tritium dial.
