Beautiful watch at a very reasonable price
4 February 2012
Summary: This is a beautiful watch at a very reasonable price. The fact that it is a lefty watch takes some getting used to, but no big deal. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this watch to anyone. Although I live in Canada, the price including the shipping and duties still made it worthwhile for me to purchase.
Summary: I know that Invicta sometimes gets a bad rap, but the fact is, they produce some nice watches at a great price. I saw this watch and loved the look instantly. I wasn't crazy about the band but found a great Italian rubber dive strap with stainless inserts online for about $20. I know the specs say it's 21mm but a 22mm fits perfect. Hope you can see the picture. I also put a screen protector from an iPhone on it and you can't even see it.
Summary: I love this watch! I get compliments from friends and strangers alike regarding my watch. Everyone, including myself, love the styling and size of this bold watch. The money paid for the watch is well worth it and most people can not believe the deal I got when the sale was running on this gem. I will keep a close eye on future sales as I would most definitely buy another Invicta in this style or something like it. Great job!!
Summary: This is a really good price for a very nice watch. It's definitely not a knock-off. It's a solid, heavy watch, definitely the genuine article. I'm right handed and the lefty aspect doesn't bother me, the only issue is I'd have to take it off to set the time, but I can easily operate the stopwatch with my right hand while it's on my left wrist. My only complaint is that the instruction booklet included with the watch doesn't really address this watch specifically.
Summary: I really like this watch. The large face and typeface make it a really nice piece of jewelry. I like the cloth/leatherback strap. Metal bands tend to pinch, so it is always nice to find a good quality watch without a metal watch band. Because of its size this is a watch that is meant to be seen. If you are one to hide your watch under the sleeve of your shirt, beware it may not work with this one.
Summary: I've been tempted to buy an Invicta watch but I'm put off by the high list price to sale price ratio. There is no way someone is going to sell a watch that is worth $700.00 for $95.00. It's like buying a Rolex at a gas station. It must be Chinese junk. I think I'll take a pass and spend my money on a trusted name like Citizen or Bulova Accutron. I used to think Seiko watches were good quality until I bought one for $400.00 that died after two years.
Very happy with the Invicta 1512 ***UPDATE 01/15/2012***

Summary: ****UPDATE*** Husband's buddy who is in the Coast Guard saw this watch and liked it so much that he ordered one for himself the same day****** Chose this timepiece for my husband who is a federal law enforcement officer. It is a large heavy watch, has a tactical appearance and goes well with his uniform.
Summary: Awesome watch. Reverse crown is great. Chrono works wonderfully. The case size isn't too big despite some reviews here, it's large, but it doesn't scream "look at me". Excellent build quality, this piece will last. The face is not jet black as it appears in the photos, I would say it is more of a 90% matte grey, which actually looks even better. The band is canvas, looks great and is very comfortable.
