Watch is well built but very large and heavy
15 September 2011
Summary: I wore this watch for about 3 weeks and my conclusion is that this watch is too heavy and bulky. It seems well built but wow it feels like a rock on your wrist. I also have small wrists and the watch looks huge on me. From the picture and the dimensions I would not have guessed that but the watch is very large. I do not think you could wear it as an everyday watch due the weight but there are actually some sharp edges on the watch that can gouge some stuff.

Summary: I say that because this is the biggest and heaviest wristwatch I've ever owned; it actually made my arm sore, enough so that I took to switching wrists, especially when wearing it to sleep, not to mention the difficulties posed by the four large sharp projections at the quarter hours.
Quality is evident, but weigh the usefulness against the cost...

Summary: Both my husband and son (young adult) wore this watch for review purposes and both made the same comments independently of each other - it's heavy, it's bulky, with limited usefulness for the price. The quality is evident, however. The watch I received has the date and time functions, with 24-hour scale ring, and is water-resistant to 330 feet.
Summary: I got this watch for my husband just in time for Father's day. He used to enjoy scuba diving in his younger days and actually likes wearing a watch while in the pool(??!!) so he loved it at first sight. The watch survived a few hours long dunking without any ill effect. We haven't had a chance to check out how water proof it is at 100m yet but it certainly is satisfactory for swimming. This is a BIG watch.
Summary: It is real easy to set, but I haven't really come across a watch that hasn't been easy to set. It does keep the date at the 3 o'clock spot. It also has the normal hands that keep seconds, minutes, and hours (12 hour). It also has a forth hand that is keeps the hour, but in the 24 hour time. So it is easy to tell time in both 12/24 hour, since it keeps both at the same time.
Summary: I'm not a watch-wearer by nature, but this watch is going to get some wear time. It's face is extremely elegant, and the numbers are easy to read without being oversized. The watch attaches with a waterproof strap that feels good, and lets the skin breathe. It is a heavy watch, but it's a watch that is going to get noticed--- and complimented.
Summary: When I ordered this watch for my husband to try, I didn't realize it would be so heavy! Just to see what the actual weight was I put it on my postal scale and it weighed 5.4 ounces. Not quite half a pound, but still pretty hefty! (His previous watch weighed 1.3 ounces) So this one is over four times the weight he is used to. That being said, the heavy weight is the Only negative! In fact the weight most likely indicates a great sturdiness and high quality.
