Summary: I actually collect higher end watches no rolex yet but tag huer breitling omega all older and found at bargain prices All HAVE SMOOTH SECOND HAND MOVEMENTS. IF anyone reviewing this watch has sufficient knowledge, to review it some one should know and mention this. with a std move ment it is a cheap watch and worth $200 or less.
Summary: I was a little skeptical as to the quality of the watch after reading the other reviews. When I received the watch, the second hand was stopped, but after looking at the directions, I found out the second hand needs to be started manually; its not broken. The watch is beautiful, and the band and pieces are all in excellent condition. The box itself was a little worn from shipping, but the actual watch case was undamaged. Overall, it is exactly as advertised.
Summary: This watch has broken twice on me. i loved until it became defunct. . .(both times the second's hand stopped working) Too bad, i wish it could work, but im not willing to pay big $ for a broken watch.
Summary: The review giving this watch one star is bizarre. The reviewer admits only looking at the picture and submitting an opinion based on that alone. I own this watch and it's quite nice. The leather strap is comfortable and sewn well. The piece is weighty and well-crafted and feels nice on the wrist. I recommend it.
Summary: I bought this watch on a Lightening Deal. I didn't expect much from the watch, but I did expect it to come in a working form. I am deployed, and my wife received the watch in the mail yesterday. The box was damaged, and the band was broken off the watch. She said the screws are out, and she thinks one is missing. The only good thing was that the front was not marked/nicked like the photo indicated.
Summary: The people reviewing this watch and bashing it have supposedly seen pictures of a watch like this? I would agree that $1000 is not realistic, but I don't think a Rolex is worth $10,000. It is a watch and has some very cool features, and looks quality made.
Summary: Just google "Haurex Italy Watches" and you will notice that not a single retailer sells them for retail. In fact, just about every one is marked down over 50% of their retail. The retail prices they show are nothing more then a marketing scam to make people think they got a super deal on an expensive watch. I can't comment on the watch itself, but looking on some other websites at the closeups, I must agree with the other reviewer...
Summary: Take a really close look at the closeup versions of the photos. Notice that the hands on the dials don't line up to the hash marks? Look at the rough edge of the bezel. Look at how at 9 o'clock, the two marks are parallel, but at 3 o'clock, they are not. Now, look at the underside of the "leather" strap. See the fuzz near the rectangular holes? My leather straps don't have fuzz like that where the material is cut. Leather doesn't fuzz - not even suede.
