Summary: This is a fine watch if you don't need to know what time it is. It looks quite nice and the size and weight are very appealing. It is however, a total loser as a timepiece. Within the first week the battery died. Then it started to fail within a month. And now only two months in, it sticks for hours at a time. This is swiss craftsmanship? Ridiculous. No amount of style can make up for a non functioning watch. I won't be bothering to buy anything from Golana ever again.
Summary: I purchased this watch b/c I liked the price and swiss movement plus it looked cool. 45 days after the battery gave out. Watch only has a 30 day warranty. Customer support is ridiculous. They don't exist and numbers don't work. If you like wasting money buy this watch or this brand. I am confident that positive reviews are planted or a one in a million or it just hasn't broke on them yet.
Summary: I want to buy a nice big expensive watch eventually but I don't know what size I will like best (most likely 45mm). It is one thing to try a watch in a shop and another to wear it everyday. I already own a black Golana Aero Pro 300 (3 years old, very sturdy) which I find very nice but too small at 42mm diameter for my 7 1/4 inch wrist. The AE100-1 is 43mm.
Summary: Now as an avid collector of watches who is extremely fussy regards all of aspects of any piece you may guarantee that I undertake much research prior to the purchase of any new product. My intention was to test Golana as a producer of 'Swiss' quartz watches, additionally to discover Golana's construct of the overall style in regards its fit in comparison to similar Panerai styles.
