Great battery, great accuracy, very hard to preserve data in Garmin Connect and Strava.

M. Wolf, Amazon
27 July 2014
  • Summary: I have downgraded my review after upgrading it (see my original and then previously edited reviews below). The reason is that Garmin has a known issue with data not syncing. I have spent a couple hours trying to sync one stupid 3 mile run. I gave up and manually entered the data.

Nice, but could be better for the money you spend!

John, Amazon
6 February 2014
  • Summary: Indeed it measures well speed, distance, BPM. The screen is pretty big, and it is easily customizable. The altimeter, which is one of the features that makes it more expensive than the 310XT, doesn't work that well, it ranges almost the same everywhere I am, around 700m.

Garmin 910 is nice, however running pace never works

Greg, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: The 910XT is a nice looking, and nice fitting watch and works very well in all aspects except running pace. And unfortunately to me, that is the main function that I use to pace myself while running so I'm not too slow or too fast on a run.

Still instant pace issues even after 3.0 update

beefchips, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: I recieved this watch for Father's Day this summer after using a 205 for about 4 years. The 205 was great and collected rock solid data but didn't have an HRM and I couldn't use it in the water for Tris so I got the 910 Tri bundle.

Great Watch, But Need To Resolve Pace Issues

William Blackert, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: I was really looking forward to this watch as a replacement to my 305 as I wanted the vibration alert and the improved startup time (as my 305 takes about 5 minutes to lock satellite) as well as some of the other new features.

Waterproof? I am worried about longevity after mine fogged up and died

T. Jefferson, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: UPDATE May 14, 2012: I am on my 2nd 910xt. During my Olympic Distance triathlon last week I noticed a fogging screen again!!! I have only had the new watch for a month. What is going on? I really want this watch to be waterproof. Considering my options.

Mixed opinion so far...

C. Smith, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: When I first received my Garmin 910XT, I couldn't wait to try it out. At the time I wasn't disappointed. Setup with my Mac and eNewLeaf went well and the chest strap felt very comfortable.

Would be 5 stars

manfrensengen, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: Amazing piece of equipment in many ways. However, I simply cannot recommend it until they add smoothing to the pace field in running mode. I can be on a run, and my pace will change from 6 min miles to 8 min miles in the course of a second.

Inherits Incorrect Date Problem from 310XT

Chris Brown, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this watch at a local running store on January 29th, 2012. It worked well for the first couple of months. Then, without warning and without firmware updates, it began to experience difficulty in keeping the correct date and time when powered off.

Great Product, But...

32 Years of MTB, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: I've had the product for 14 months and it has been great for tracking my running, hiking, and cycling. However, the on/off switch just failed. $99 to fix it, 2 months out of warranty...
