Good watch , bad hart monitor strap-on

Itai Schweitzer, Amazon

  • Summary: the 910XT watch is excellent and does the job. Together with the Garmin connect you can easily track performance and progression the hart monitor is worthless and stooped working after less than a year. I try replacing the battery but it doesn't work.

  • Summary: My husband LOVES this watch. He is an avid athlete, and can use this for everything including swimming laps, running, and biking. He gets a kick out of monitoring his progress and keeping track of everything with the computer program. He has had this nearly a year and I have not heard one complaint about any aspect of this watch. It is probably the best gift I have every gotten him (and we've been married 44 years!!

  • Summary: Holy cow this watch is leaps and bounds better than my previous Garmin 305 (or whatever model the red one is). I love being able to have swim info both in the pool and open water. It also seems to find a satellite SO much faster than any of their other models. The only problem I have with it seems to be consistent with any Garmin I've had, which is that the heart rate monitor causes MAJOR chafing and sometimes reads far lower than my actual HR if it starts to slip (even...

The best GPS watch on the market.

Jill A. "Jill A.", Amazon
13 September 2014
  • Summary: I absolutely love this watch. I am primarily a runner, although I do wear it for the occasional triathlon. The auto-multisport feature works flawlessly. It is completely waterproof, and klutz-proof. The controls are easy to learn and use, instruction manual is clear and well-written, and there are endless customizations to the display and alerts.

Great Fitness Accessory

  • Summary: I have used this for almost a year now and still love it. The gps is accurate and have run into no issues finding a signal or dropping. I usually run/bike on roads. Auto uploading to my computer wirelessly is great. I have the ant+ usb adapter for my mac mini and once i stop the work out and take a couple steps into the house I feel it vibrate letting me know it is uploading to Garmin connect two rooms away from my side door.

Great battery, great accuracy, very hard to preserve data in Garmin Connect and Strava.

  • Summary: I have downgraded my review after upgrading it (see my original and then previously edited reviews below). The reason is that Garmin has a known issue with data not syncing. I have spent a couple hours trying to sync one stupid 3 mile run. I gave up and manually entered the data. A couple hours of my life that I will never get back. I have upgraded my review again after about two weeks. Below is my original (edited) review.
