The case is designed in solid stainless steel case at 53.9 x 23.3 mm weighs 360 g. It features an 8 mm anti-reflective sapphire crystal, stainless steel bracelet/separate genuine rubber strap and screw driver; double-pusher folding clasp with safety catch and fold out extension, unidirectional rotating bezel, screw down crown and pushers (crown with side guards), engraves screw-down caseback. is water resistant up to 12 000 feet (3657 meters/2000 fathoms) and supports a helium relief valve.

Features

The 12000 FEET features technologies that took several prototypes of different stainless steel compositions to optimize the weight/pressure resistance quotient. The domed 8 mm thick crystal on the watch withstands pressure of up to 370kg / cm2 and is tested in a series of laboratory tests. The anti-reflective coating ensures that the dial can still be read under all conditions. The helium relief valve provides a no-moving-parts feature that reduces the incidence of clogging with sand, salt or debris. The 12000 FEET is an idea by Frank M. Bürgin’s in his quest to design a watch with quality as well as a highly durable watch for deep sea diving. This timepiece is the official world record holder for water resistance of mechanical diver’s watches.
