Summary: Purchased this less than a month ago. After two to three days of very minimal wear around the office only, treating with great care, noticed scratches all over the band. Contacted company who said that is normal if the band comes into contact with any surface. IE: wood desk, as in sitting at desk looking at computer and reading papers. Company wouldn't even discuss the issue further.
Summary: My wife purchased this watch for my birthday two years ago. I have an allergy to metals and there are things I can't do, like carry change in my pocket, and things I can't wear like almost any type of watch or other jewelry. So I was very happy to finally find a watch that I can wear without worrying about any reaction. I have worn it every day and it is very durable.
Summary: I've have this watch for 6 months now and haven't had any problems. I like that I (supposedly) won't ever have to replace the battery, since it recharges using solar power. It has held up well and keeps perfect time. I wouldn't say it looks stunning, but it does receive occasional complements. It goes well with almost any outfit. This is my primary daily wear watch and I plan to stick with it, so I'm awarding five stars.
Summary: I had been eyeing the citizen titanium watch for years, but it was always too expensive. Finally found this at a really good price on amazon. When it first came, for some reason I wasn't as excited as I thought at the time of placing order online. Didn't feel like it was worth $350 retail - more like $175. I am wearing it on daily basis so there are a few scuffs on the strap, but thats just because of physics.
Summary: I was very happy to get this watch. Titanium is the way to go if you don't like a heavy weight watch and using sunlight (or any other type of light source) to power the watch without having to use and replace a battery is very convenient. It is actually more gray in appearance with a silver trim on the outer edge which makes for a very elegant looking watch without the price tag. A great every day wearable watch!
Summary: I agree that the negative posts have to be about another Citizen Watch. Several of the Eco-Drives seem to have a faulty clasp (you can tell just by looking at them and holding the watches in your hand if the clasp is good or not). This model in particular is fantastic and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I received it as a gift two years ago and I've gotten more compliments than I can count.
Summary: OK, I just got the watch today, so I can't speak to durability. But there are some things to consider if you're thinking about this watch. First, the Amazon description shows the watch as being water resistant to 99 feet. The actual information packaged with the watch, is clear that the watch is merely water resistant to 3 atmospheres, which permits minor exposure such as you'd encounter in the rain or when washing face or hands.
Great watch! Don't think negative reviews are for this model.

Summary: I waited several months to write this review, just in case my first impression changed. But after several months, I am still thrilled with this watch. I have had several people compliment me on it since buying it (without me pointing out that it was new or anything like that). It looks slightly darker in person than in the pictures on Amazon, which makes the shiny outer band really stand out.
Summary: I have had nothing but issues with my Citizens Titanium Eco-Drive Watch. I was originally impressed by its appearance and I was mistakenly under the impression that Citizens made a reliable quality product. After about 3 -6 Months I noticed Condensation in the Watch. It would go away after a while but always came back. I took it to a watch repair shop, but they said that it had to go back to Citizens in CA.
