Citizen Men's BL8000-54L Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 Perpetual Calendar Watch

  • Summary: jThe ecosystem is wonderful. It gives you the accuracy of an electric watch and the durability of a automatic due to solar energy. This along with the perpetual calendar you never have to touch or adjust the watch for long periods of time and the battery should last for years.

  • Summary: Excellent styling with great features. My favorite is the perpetual calendar. Powered by light, it never needs a battery. This watch tells day and date, too.

Nice watch, not very blue at all.

Tristan S., Newegg
26 February 2013
  • Pros: Shiny, looks expensive, strong clasp, sophisticated look, relatively inexpensive.
  • Cons: The face, unlike 15 of the representative photos of this watch, is barely blue. It is dark grey-blue. There is one picture that looks like this watch. No chrono, either, but I knew that.

great product / agressive price

Alex T., Newegg

  • Pros: looks great, agressive price. Exaclty what I expected. I have worn it in the lake many times down to 12 feet depth without an issue at all. Keeps time like a champ.
  • Cons: none. it is a bit bulky for my taste but that is compared to some Tag's I have touched. But at $280 cmpared to $2,800 that is not really a fair comparison.

Citizen Watch

Mary H., Newegg
25 May 2012
  • Pros: Shipping was very fast and package arrived in perfect condition. The watch came with the original box and all instructions were included. I would recommend ordering from the seller. Price was half what you can get the same watch for from a jeweler.
  • Cons: None

  • Excerpt: I was looking for nice watch for when I need to clean up for various activities, but that also would not break the bank. This Citizen watch serves nicely. I gravitate towards items that have clean, timeless lines and the all silver body and roman numeral use lend to that nicely.

Great Watch

David S., Newegg
13 May 2012
  • Summary: I love this watch and would recommend it for anyone.
  • Pros: I purchased this watch from somewhere else. For someone who doesn't want to pay an exuberant amount of money on a watch that is still classy and looks good, this is a great watch. I have gotten many compliments on it. Even my friend who is a somewhat watch snob complimented it on its looks.
  • Cons: There is a slight scratch on the crystal, which is annoying but not that big of a deal for me. It is supposed to be a saphire crystal which is very hard to scratch, not impossible.
