Yet another Casio!

Summary: 3rd Casio in past 2 years. Previous watches have let in water but to be fair to Amazon they have changed them promptly. Paid more for this one which is 100m water resistant rather than 50m of previous 2. I have 4 requirements of a watch, none of which include style, and these are that it keeps very good time (this is accurate to the second), that it is water proof both in the pool and the sea (not used it in the sea yet but is ok in the pool), that it has a stop watch...
Summary: I've been buying Casio water resistant watches for nearly 20 years now and been very pleased with them. They're accurate, easy to use, and I can wear them for swimming and canoeing without any problem. Also they're cheap so it's not a disaster if you lose them. I bought this particular model about twenty months ago and have just replaced it with an identical one from Amazon - delivery time incidentally was 18 hours from order to receipt and that was on the usual free...
Summary: i dont know what the 1 star review is on here for. have bought casios for years. and like them all, this one is perfectly reliable and comfortable. theres nothing flash about it but if u just want a rugged watch that tells the time and has a decent alarm, this is what u need.
Summary: What was I looking for? I bought this watch in the hope that it would be shower proof, hard wearing, scratch resistant (regarding the face of the watch) and had a longer lasting strap than my last watch. My last watch was a suunto T1, on which the strap had broken through wear and is very expensive to replace.
Summary: This my second similar watch. The only reason I required a second was that after a couple of years, the strap broke and renewing that was more expensive than acquiring a new watch. Works perfectly , is waterproof within its set limits and keeps time.
Summary: I wanted a watch to go walking up mountains to tell the time etc and i didn't want anything to fancy as sometimes watches break or you loose them and its important to have good feature's like a good light to see in the dark, big numbers and a sound alarm clock and easy to use, well this has it all for the price. The only thing i would say is can someone invent a watch strap that's not plastic in the cheaper range of watches. Still a good buy.
Summary: Something has gone badly wrong with the quality of Casio's low-end water-resistant watches. I have owned a number of these in the past and been very satisfied, but the last two have been unfit for purpose and have had to be returned. In both cases the body of the watch has developed cracks where the strap attaches to it - on both sides - and after only a few days of very light use.
