Works great so far

  • Summary: I am excited about this watch. It does seem to be accurate when I use the compass. I wish I didn't have to take the watch OFF for 30 minutes to get a better temperature reading.

unimpressive but works

  • Summary: While the functions of the watch (usually) work, there are a couple of annoying features that have me looking for another watch. The primary annoyance is the time of the backlight - it's only about 2 seconds long and it's not adjustable. There is also no long click to make the light stay on. Anyway, with the the short backlight timer, the watch's secondary functions (compass, etc) are virtually useless at night.

Great watch, good layout of functions, temp control is off.

  • Summary: So everything works great on this watch except the temperature control - thus my review will be short and to the point. You will get a watch with very good layouts, a compass, one that is not to large or small, a good back-light, but with a bad temperature reader. The temp. is definitely not consistent nor accurate, even after calibration. The temperature gets to be off by sometimes as much as 10 degrees due to the fact that is on your wrist.

You get what you pay for.

  • Summary: Overall, this is a good watch for the price. It is light weight and seems pretty durable. However, I have set the sensors and the compass is not always on the money. The biggest criticism I can give this watch is that the buttons are set in a very bad position. I have hit buttons just simply by moving my wrist which at times goes through the watch's options.

"Compass"

William, amazon.com

  • Summary: To start, I love this watch. It does everything I want a watch to do and does so rather well. The countdown timer in particular is completely invaluable to me, and I use it on a daily basis. The compass and thermometer are both pretty much gimmicks. The compass is accurate for the first month or so after it's been synchronized, but can then be up to 90 degrees off-axis - not good.

A step down from a previous model

David Varty, Amazon
28 August 2013
  • Summary: This is a nice watch by a very good digital watch manufacturer. However it has limitations on some of its features that my previous Casio TS 100 did not have. The previous watch measured the temperature in a more scientific way. There was a sensor panel on the front. The temperature was measured every two minutes and could be shown continuously on the display. It could also be measured instantly by pushing a button.
