ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT~
20 December 2011
Summary: Purchased this item due to hearing loss. Don't actually know how it performs, because I never got past shortening the band. Emailed Casio and received diagrams of several types of bands, but not inclusive of the band on this watch. Phoned for support and was informed I would be charged to remove links, due to their lack of knowledge on this particular band. NOT HAPPENING!!!!!!!!! Now, I have to see if seller will refund the purchase?????????
Summary: This is my second time ordering this watch. I had the first one for over 6 years. I would still have it if I didn't mess it up when the battery died. I didn't see the clip holding the battery in and unscrewed things I shouldn't have. Needless to say I couldn't get it to work after that. I was very upset as I did considerable research to find a rectangular watch that had a vibrator alarm. My first one I had to buy from Indonesia as it wasn't sold anywhere in the US.
Summary: Time has made it necessary for me to find this type of alarm system. Earlier I had been using watches with sound only alarms. I was missing some of the alerts/alarms due to loss of high frequency sounds (most watch alarm sounds are pitched high). This vibrating alarm makes it easier to detect the alert. It is working very well, helping me to do things I had at times forgotten.
Summary: Casio wristwatch with vibrating alarm has worked out better than anticipated. Have used it for both daytime and wake-up alarms and it is ideal for both (I have trouble with high frequency sounds so cannot hear the usual watch alarm unless close to my ear). Additionally, the watch is attractive and sized nicely. Excellent buy.
Summary: This vibrating chronograph alarm watch does almost everything I wish it to do. It is a dual time zone watch; a chronograph; a count-down timer; and an alarm. Since my hearing is a little bad, I especially like the vibration. The dial can be lighted at the touch of a button which makes it nice for telling time at night. I usually prefer an analog watch over a digital one, but the excellent features of this watch outweigh any advantage of an analog one.
