Summary: A certain big retail store whose name starts with "W" does not carry this watch, they only carry a similar "sport" model with an ugly rubber band. With tax, that watch was only $1.50 less than this one, so it was a no-brainer to pay $1.50 more and get this much fancier metal band version instead.
Pros: Gorgeous-looking watch for the money, definitely doesn't look like a watch that cost so little. Has night light, stopwatch, timer, and automatic atomic time update. It does NOT have solar charging capability.
Cons: I have never owned a waveceptor watch before. I was under the impression that these watches update on their own throughout the day. Turns out, you have to take them off your wrist and set them near a window for them to update at all. Another con is that the case itself is plastic. But for what I ...
Summary: This is the second Waveceptor I own. The first lasted 2 years with no problems until the battery died, and with the normal wear & tear and the cost of installing a new battery it was cheaper to buy new.

Summary: I purchased this one for my Dad for Christmas. He is a school bus driver and likes to be at each stop exactly the same time everyday. I purchased one for myself 5 or more years ago and the chrome is wearing off but the watch works perfect. I seldom take it off.
Summary: Watch band adjustment is puzzling if you have not adjusted this type of band before. I didnt have a clue about how to do it. But one of the Amazon reviews mentioned a youtube video - I did a couple searches and finally found it, titled: "How To re-size the Metal Band on a Casio Wave Ceptor".
Summary: The appearance of this watch was much nicer than I anticipated. The photos of the watch make it look somewhat cheap. The big difference was the two buttons on each side of the watch. In the photo I thought they looked very large and stood out in a way that detracted from the rest of the watch.
Summary: This is the second one of these watches I have bought. LOVE the fact that you never have to set it and it is always on the exact time. The multiple time zones, stopwatch, timer and alarms are all added bonuses.
Summary: I am very happy with this watch, as I have been with previous casio purchases.I have owned another model wave ceptor for about 4 years, and have never even changed the battery. As for band adjustment, it was a snap after watching the video on YOU TUBE.I took out 4 links in about 15 minutes so the...
Summary: Having used and liked a WaveCeptor watch until the resin band cracked and fell apart, something with a stainless band seemed like a good idea. I searched the reviews on this watch and found 82 referenced the band.

Summary: Great Watch. One other review I saw about this Stainless steel version, said it was heavy and they built up the bycepts on the one arm they had the watch on, but I think they were small person anyway. This watch is just fine. Not heavy.
Summary: Any waveceptor is a wonderful watch. I own 3.( different styles) I have yet to find any faults with these great watches. the autoset works great, If you have trouble with the auto set, find out where colorado is from your location place the watch facing up from a window.
