Casio G5600E-1 G-Shock Review

Summary: What needs to be said? It's a G-Shock. These things are bomb proof (figuratively speaking of course). Yes, this particular model is a little "thicker" depth wise then some of the other watches in the 5600 series. I wouldn't let this deter you. These watches are made to last and simple to operate.
Summary: This watch would be 5 starts, except for the following: 1. To this day most of the digital watch LCD displays are not readable at an angle. 2. CASIO could really have done without all the extra writing on top of the solar panels. 3. The watch could be a touch lower profile. Now for the good stuff: 1. The main screen shows everything you need - time, date, day. 2. Stop watch. 3.
Summary: I would guess that most people familiar with Casio's G-Shock range will be aware that they can be quite chunky watches. However by G-Shock standards this model is actually fairly slimline. Also by G-Shock standards it doesn't have as many bells, whistles and generally weird and wonderful functions, it's a pretty straight forward, robust and reliable watch. The G5600E-1 doesn't need to have it's battery replaced every year or two.
