Casio G5600E-1 G-Shock Review

G.I. Joe, amazon.com
23 July 2011
  • Summary: What needs to be said? It's a G-Shock. These things are bomb proof (figuratively speaking of course). Yes, this particular model is a little "thicker" depth wise then some of the other watches in the 5600 series. I wouldn't let this deter you. These watches are made to last and simple to operate.

  • Summary: The time of day isn't displayed in stopwatch or countdown timer mode. The digits are too small.

One of the better all around watches.

  • Summary: This watch would be 5 starts, except for the following: 1. To this day most of the digital watch LCD displays are not readable at an angle. 2. The main screen shows everything you need - time, date, day. 2. Stop watch. 3.

Excellent watch

G. Ward, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I would guess that most people familiar with Casio's G-Shock range will be aware that they can be quite chunky watches. However by G-Shock standards this model is actually fairly slimline. Also by G-Shock standards it doesn't have as many bells, whistles and generally weird and wonderful functions, it's a pretty straight forward, robust and reliable watch. The G5600E-1 doesn't need to have it's battery replaced every year or two.
