Perfect watch, except for the waveceptor

Summary: The watch looks good on my thin wrist. Although a G-Shock, it's not as bulky as others of the same family. The display is well designed, and the button operation is intuitive. The only drawback I found is the total failure of the waveceptor. The watch indicates the strength of the radio signal when it is in synchronization mode. Living in northern Portugal, I didn't expect a strong radio signal.
Summary: The Casio G-Shock GW-M850-1ER is a very nice little piece of equipment. I wanted a replacement for my Timex Ironman T5E901 Triathlon 30 Lap Watch . Much as I like the Ironman, it looks like what it is, cheap. The Casio unit is a much classier unit with a genuine metal bezel, very clear glass (not Plastic) and a clear, high-quality LCD display.
Summary: I bought this watch because I needed an alarm on my wrist (and bigger date display - my eyes are getting older!). Since I returned from a holiday in Egypt (October 2010) the watch has proved to be an almost complete waste of money. Despite trying to expose the watch to sunlight at every opportunity it has rarely reached medium charge let alone full. The result being reduced functionality almost all of the time.
Summary: I bought this watch because I wanted a good-looking Casio G-Shock watch with the functions this model offers, particularly the World Time facility as I travel worldwide on a regular basis. And therein lies my first minor gripe about this model: when displaying the time in a different time zone, the city code is displayed in the field normally occupied by the day of the week.
Summary: I purchased this as a sports watch for going to the gym, etc. I was worried that it would be a bit big, but there was no need to be worries as it is very reasonable in size and very light. Functionality is excellent; world time, solor power, auto update, loads of alarms, stop watch, countdown timer, auto backlight, the list goes on.. Would highly recommend this watch.
Summary: Above all I wanted a watch tha would remain accurate, was comfortable to wear, looks OK and rugged/waterproof. This watch meets all my needs. I have average size wrists (for a man) and this watch has sufficient adjustment to fit smaller and larger wrists. Gets updated with the radio signal every night whilst on my beside table and remains on at least medium charge level even though I work in an office and usualy wear long sleeves.
Summary: Ive always wanted a g shock watch and i wasnt disappointed with this model.its quite large but not huge.has a clear display and is easy to read,is very well made.the watch gets a radio signal to keep the time spot on,have had casio radio controlled watches before with out any problems.and changes between summer and winter time automatically.this watch can be set to shut down at night to save power but still keep the right time.the stop watch and count down timer have a...
