Summary: Purchased this watch about six years ago for about the same price from a military specialty store. I had been using it for the past six years and it still operated at peak performance with no degradation in the backlighting, alarm, or button function and without a battery change and the vibration time the entire length of ownership. The watch was a daily wear watch whether in uniform or civilians for the past six years.
Summary: Bought this watch some 5yrs ago..went for the navy blue version instead of the black... ITs a fantastic watch, big tough and also auto illuminates with the tilt of the wrist,Dont have a bad word to say about this item..its taken some serious thumps while working and hunting....great buy all the way.
Summary: Best thing about this watch is that it is very reliable as a watch and has usable vibration alarm plus all the other useful functions. Vibration alarm is sufficient but not as strong as I want it to be and definitely would not wake me up. When I am doing some physical activity that uses my arm or getting vibration on my arm such as riding bikes etc. I tend to not notice the vibration alarm setting off. Another function I bought this for is the count down timer.
Summary: In short, I've used and abused this watch for 4+ years, living in a 3rd-world country and for long periods of time in remote rainforest. It's been great! But about 4 (or a little over) years, and it's dead. So I'm ordering another! I got this watch particularly because I've found Casio to be reliable as water-resistant watches (as opposed to Timex), and specifically because of the vibration alarm.
Summary: I like the watch. Buttons are easy to push and crystal is recessed and therefore protected. My only negative is it's quite large. I suspect all vibration alarms are large. Not sure of the function of the the small hexagon to the right of the day of the week.
Summary: I've worn this watch daily for a few months now and really like it. I previously bought one of Casio's hunting pathfinder watches and fell in love with the vibrating alarm feature. Its great to wake up for an early workout without waking up the wife or kid. The vibration does not seem to be quite as powerful as the vibrations of the pathfinder and it does have one less alarm. It does however have a snooze alarm that repeats every 5 minutes until you turn it off.
Great Watch for Hearing Impaired and Absent Minded

Summary: This watch is exactly what I needed. As an absented minded hearing impaired person now doing more of the household cooking, I've been burning dinner not hearing the stove timer. The timer function with vibration alarm has solved this problem! Now I read, attend to other projects or just daydream without worry. The alarm function is great too.
Summary: I had to give up my Casio Databank watch because I could no longer hear the beep alarm (nor on any other brand as well.) So, I got a vibrating alarm watch from another company. And the vibration was quite strong on that watch, but it was bulky, had a user-unfriendly countdown timer, and no other features.
