Summary: This is my second one. The band on the first broke after a half dozen years and it's not much more expensive to buy a new watch than a new band (FYI the band itself did tear, but only after careless use). The Indiglo light works great, the band is supple and comfortable, and the watch is nice and light. If you want a simple, cheap, (retro) cool watch why get anything else?
Summary: I just got it in the mail today and I love it. It was totally easy to set up. I didn't even glance at the manual. The face shows you the time and day/date which is all anyone really needs to know at a glance. It's really slim which is nice since I have small wrists for a man. A nice blue light illuminates the entire screen which is extremely handy. It also has a stop watch and an alarm clock, both very practical. That's it. No frills, no bs. And honestly, it looks great.
Summary: Love this watch. The watch band falls apart before the watch stops running. The only thing negative about the watch is setting the alarm. Once you set the watch it is hard to get rid of alarm. Owned Illuminator watches for past fifteen years.
Summary: I've been wearing various Casio watches for years. They are, simply put, the best reasonably priced electronic watches on the market. My experience has been that the batteries last for years. The watches are extremely accurate and very durable. You can't go wrong with a Casio watch.
Summary: This is a basic watch; it did what I expected it to, which was really to have an alarm instead of using my cell phone. It has a stopwatch but no countdown feature, which I sort of wanted, but oh well. The real problem is this watch is less than a year old and is already broken. I don't know what broke it but one morning I realized the bottom of the case near the strap pin cracked. I can still use the watch as an alarm but I can't wear it on my wrist.
Summary: I have bought a series of these watches over the years. I have replaced the bands on some as they wore out but the watch was still working fine. I have replaced the battery, too, in the past. However, I think the battery in my current one is getting weak, so I plan to just buy a new watch. Kind of a shame as the face is relatively unscratched and the watch runs fine although I have had this one for some years now.
Summary: Great work watch! This is my 5th generation of this watch over probably 17 years. Always accurate- takes rough treatment well and the dirt. The only thing that I have trouble with first is the bands and they cost more than half, the cost of a new unit. Ususally I will replace the bands once or twice before I get a new unit.
great, no nonsense little watch....a real winner...

Summary: This is a great little watch with lots of features...Very similar to one I owned 30 years ago in high-school...The watch is very attractive with nice blue face contrasting with plastic black surround and strap. It is light, simple to use for everyday, inexpensive and does what it says. Only small criticism is strap could be slightly longer, but it fits around my wrist ok (just).
Summary: My 14 year old son has had 3 of these watches. They now make the watch slightly different...they changed the light from the bright blue behind the numbers to an orangish light that lights from the left side. He really loves this watch and we are disappointed that it will no longer be availiable with the nice light. The only problem that we've had with this watch is that the band's aren't very sturdy.
