Summary: The day and year setting is not working just out of the box. Called up the technical support and confirmed that its a manufacturing defect.Unfortunately gifted it a person in INDIA where its not covered under warranty. Need to get it back to US to get it rectified.
Summary: I am more than satisfied with this Casio Edifice. Well build and nice looks. The watch is everything I read on the technichal information. It might be a little complicated to set it up, but with a little patience you'll get to it. At first I wasa reading the instruction in Spanish, then I decided for the English version. It was the solution. Maybe if I may sugest is to have the Spanish instructions review as they might confused those not speaking English.
Summary: I was looking for a good watch that was a step up from my previous "cheaper" Casios. Looked at a number of watches, mostly from Citizen also some Seiko and Bulova. While looking at Citizens I discovered the Edifice line from Casio with a couple that were pretty similar to models from Citizen. With a limited budget I decided the Citizens were too pricey at this time (well, at least the ones I had on my "short list.
Summary: I have this watch for a couple of months now. I like it a lot. Very well made, and very nice looking. Learning all of its functionality is very fun, and it's not hard to follow the manual. All in all, it's a good buy for this watch. Since it is solar powered, you'll never have to replace any battery.
Summary: Fantastic watch for me, best design, and fits like a glove. The black stylish design is super, the second handle movements is beautiful, like the classic automatic watches. The watch looks beautiful and attracts attention and respect from the people I contact. Really a gem!
Summary: Nice mid-range sport watch. Comparable to a Seiko, or a bit nicer. Pretty simple function with just a stopwatch and alternate city time. The time is self setting, and has been accurate so far. I wish the bezel moved but is just for show.
Summary: Have had this watch for a few days now and I am impressed. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to here. It is a beautiful, sporty watch that seems durable and precise. The hands are not off, the solar power feature works well, and its very power efficient (second hand stops moving after the watch is not used for a few hours, for example when you go to sleep.
