Summary: casio made something cool here but,in all honesty, its too big,im a workin man and tried to get used to its size for a week but i just didnt like its bulk, the g5600 classic series are perfect for work and everyday wear, this is a novelty style, showoff model in imo.i got the casio model dw5600e-1v and its g shock perfection.
Summary: Well I personally have a g shock atomic solar watch and have for about 8 years. I purchased one for my ex and his is still working as well. Though I bought the same for my son and his crapped out after about 3-4 years. Clearly I dont understand why both of the others have such longevity and the last one bought was the first to go. Thinking of purchasing my son another one for Christmas. I still feel these watches are awesome.
Summary: The idea that a watch never needs a battery-change is nice, but I've had a few of these Casio "solar powered" watches, and they last about as long as the regular-powered ones. They crap out after about 4 years, regardless of how long you strap them to the roof-rack of your truck for that solar energy, so just buy the non-solar and save some cash.
I love this watch: big easy-to-read display, tough design, big size

Summary: This watch is really great. I didn't buy at Amazon, but at Tourneau where I paid the list price which is $!50. Not sure why it costs more here, but the watch is truly best in class. It's got an incredible solar system that takes a little light to stay charged for a whole year, gets atomic clock radio signals, and is super solid. You don't have to do anything--it just goes and goes.
