Summary: this unit was rated to the same level of water resistance as the old gsock but it had a plastic case rather than stainless steel and the back was held on with 4 screws instead of the standard old screwed-in backing with o-ring. Performance wise it states ok for skin diving but "not to be used with tanks" when this looks like the old model which we used many years when scuba diving
Summary: This is a great, durable product. I am replacing one I bought about 10 years ago, which is getting worn--scratched crystal, worn bezel, but still works well. I also own two newer, higher end g-shock watches which are no longer usable.
Summary: Spent two tours in Kuwait/Iraq with this watch. Extremely sandy-hot-miserable environment. Battery held for 6 years and local watch repair ruined it replacing the battery. I bought another one and still have it. Original watch took the heat, sand, sweat, gunfire and those days when it was so hot I threw it on the ground. Never replaced anything and I wasn't kind to it. It's the only product that went and came back with me from the desert. Buy It.............
Summary: Great casual day to day & weekend watch. Have had for 10 + years. Replaced battery 1 - 2X. Never replaced the band. Very accurate. If this one ever dies I will buy another one without question. I use it as my daily alarm clock. Have used for scuba diving (60 feet); it is in the pool all summer & in the shower daily. It is great to have a rugged comfortable watch you don't have to worry about. I do lots of heavy yardwork, sports, etc. and never take it off.
Summary: Great watch, took me through the 26 week Sheriff's Academy (OCSD, Ca.), 5.5 years of jail duty and 4 years on patrol before I had to replace it. The digital portion still works and is attached to my cite book now. Had to replace it only after the material around the face began to fall apart. Can't beat it for [$]. I only had to replace the battery twice but the band almost yearly.
Pros: Accurate, Comfortable, Great On-Duty Watch, Quality Construction
