    this unit was rated to the same level of water resistance as the old gsock but it had a plastic case rather than stainless steel and the back was held on with 4 screws instead of the standard old screwed-in backing with o-ring. The Casio DW5600E-1V watch is made for tough sports. It is water resistant and scratch resistant. In addition it is also shock resistant. It comes with a multi function alarm and a stopwatch.

Features

The shock resistant Casio DW5600E-1V has a band made of rubber and a square face structure. This watch is water resistant up to 200 meters. In addition to that it is scratch resistant. It has an Electro-Luminescent backlight with afterglow feature. The stopwatch of this Casio uses 1/100 second as a unit for the first 60 minutes, with a capacity of 59’59’’99. After that the measuring becomes 1 second with a capacity of 23:59’59. Also it has an elapsed time, split time and 1st-2nd place time measuring modes. The countdown timer uses 1 second as measuring unit with a range to 24 hours. The countdown timer has a start time setting range of 1 second to 24 hours with 1 second increments and 1 hour increments, plus a repeat function. The Casio DW5600E-1V has an hourly time signal and an auto calendar pre-programmed until the year 2039. It displays time in either 12 or 24 hour formats. It has an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. The approximate battery life is 2 years using the CR2016 battery model. This watch weigh 54 grams and it is 48.9×42.8×13.4mm in dimension.
