Summary: My son loved this watch when he received it for Christmas. He especially likes the continuously sweeping second hand and the rugged build. It's large face and attractive styling has also brought a lot of raves from others. I did a lot of research on watches in this price category, and the Precisionist was clearly the best buy out there.
Summary: no matter what i say below this watch is nice and i love it. had this watch for only a few days now. accuracy: don't think it will make the 10 seconds a year mark, still much better than a standard quartz though. 5 days and i think its gained about 1/2 second maybe, hard to tell. hard to adjust to get the hands (minute hand)to line up. for me not a very crisp dial to read.
Summary: I am not a watch expert, I don't know brands and this is the first watch I buy to have a decent price. So don't take my review too seriously. The watch s very very fashionable to wear. No disputes on that, everybody likes it. On my thin wrist it still looks good, despite being a thick watch. The secret is in its design, it hides the thickness very well but follows the fashion trend by providing a well designed big watch. Its a bit heavy but this is normal.
Summary: I spent a month looking for the right watch. I checked out Citizen, Seiko, Tissot, Victorinox, seemingly all of them. My budget was $500, and there were quite a few around that amount that I almost purchased. But when the time came to stop researching and actually buy one, I decided on this watch, mainly because of the lower price and because I'd briefly seen one in person at Macy's and thought it looked pretty good.
Summary: I purchased this watch at Macy's, attracted by its promise of 10 second/year accuracy and the smooth sweep of its second hand. Unfortunately, the watch is gaining time at a rate of 30 seconds/year - good for a normal quartz watch, but far from what was promised for the "Precisionist". I will be sending it in to Bulova for repair (at a charge of 10 bucks, per their published S&H policy) and will update this review when and if the repair solves the problem.
addictive to online shopping "addictive to on..., amazon.com

Summary: I brought this after extensive research..looking at all models of the precisionists and all advertised prices..amazon didnt have it in stock.most online watch dealers didnt have it in stock, i was running out of time to give it to my husband on our first year anniversary so I ordered in at macys.com when the product arrived i was impressed by its quality but a lil worried by its HUGE size and to think that this is 44mm , 2mm less than the champlain models.
Summary: This is a very nice watch: the case, dial, and bracelet are of excellent quality. The "precisionist" movement is both very precise and very cool. In more than two weeks I have owned it, I cannot detect even a fraction of a second difference from the atomic clock. (I can now believe the claimed precision of better than 10s per year.) (I have another watch with a claimed 10s/year claimed precision, but that one gains one second in two weeks...
