Summary: I purchased at Sears (where I had purchased all my appliances for over 40 years) Live wires "rusted out" on a bad Whirlpool design. The LED Light module is no longer manufactured and now the washer is being replaced (under my service agreement) however I won't have a matching set (Washer and dryer)...
Summary: Don't buy this machine! One the warranty was up the inside light rusted out and live wires were hanging in my machine. When I called Whirlpool, they said my warranty was over and I would have to pay for the repair. I believe this is covered under manufacture defect.
Summary: TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! I had the F1 error code that cost $300 to fix. Now my top lid has warped and I have to hold it down to engage the lid. Bottom line: $500 to fix the lid. Customer Service is CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. They won't do anything to help. I hate Whirlpool. I hate this washer.
Summary: I am replacing Whirlpool one thousand dollar washing machine after using it for less than three years (my prior washer lasted eighteen). The lid is broken - it warped and cracked. Honestly, never loved the washer, anyway. It spins so hard it wrinkles clothing.
Summary: After having this washer for almost 2 years, this is the second time the lid cracked. Only cosmetic they say? No. You can't use the machine if the door doesn't lock, and the door doesn't lock if the plastic frame cracks and the glass lifts the door.
Summary: THIS THING USES MORE WATER u have to break up the loads to match the OVER ABUNDANCE of settings, (takes an engineering degree to figure them all out)which means you have a lot more loads of clothes to fit the different cycles.
Summary: I like top loaders rather than front loaders, so when I purchased a top-end Cabrio washer I was expecting a pretty good product and it did not disappoint. The washer weights the amount of cloth and it dispenses the proper amount of water, so no unnecessary water is wasted.
Summary: I love trees as much as the next guy. And lakes and clean water in my oceans. So, I am all for saving energy, decreasing runoff and the rest. However, the fact remains, we are fortunate enough to have the luxury of washing clothes in this country with a machine instead of in the lake on a metal...
Summary: I don't understand all the upsetness about this product that has brought dooms day so soon, I may be one of the lucky ones but the only problem I have ever had was off balance several times and that's my fault due to not loading the washer correctly and enough.
Summary: We had been shopping for front loading machines until we saw this model on display. It works out perfect for our situation. The clothes come out smelling great and even large items are no problem. This washer easily handles king size comforters.
