Summary: This is possibly the most poorly performing washer of all time. I have had mine for 3.5 years. I follow the instructions to the letter. It broke under warranty 2 weeks after purchase. It would not wash, would get to the wash cycle and stop. It was repaired, and has "worked" since then. I agree with other reviewers that items do not come out clean. I resorted to using pre-soak (no real soaking) bulky setting with heavy soil setting and extra rinse.
Summary: We bought this washer a little over 2 years ago. We replaced an old school washer that we have had for over 15 years. This new washer does not clean as well as the old one used to. Towels were always a little "funky." There are only two of us so the amount of use it was getting was below normal. One day it stopped spinning. I pulled the error codes on the washer to see if this was something that could easily be fixed. The error codes were F7E1 and F0E5.
Summary: I have had this for about a year. I use the product as instructed. It absolutely does a TERRIBLE job at cleaning clothes. My baby's bibs and clothes come out with food particles still on them. We have had problems with grease stains showing up on clothes after being washed that were not there prior to being put in the washer. It is crazy. I recently washed clothes and put some Downy beads in the load to make it smell better.
Summary: All the other bad reviews are correct! Our Whirlpool Cabrio mashed and twisted clothes so badly - even after being smoothed out and fluff-dried they always came out horribly wrinkled. The washer has electronic pre-sets so the customer has no choice in water level, spinning, etc. You can only have what the Whirlpool "engineers" allow you to have. Yes - we read the owner's manual - that was no help. Repeated calls to customer "service" were also useless.
Summary: I have to side with the people that love this machine for it's the best washing machine we've owned in our 35-year-old household. It does a great job on clothes, especially whites using the white cycle; they've never looked better. The accompanying dryer is just as good. We've owned our machine 3 years, bought it new, and have never had service on it. It does 4-5 loads of laundry a week, usually on two different days, and has never failed.
Highly unacceptable performance and customer service

Summary: I am very dissatisfied with the Whirlpool Cabrio washer. The water level stays so low that the cleaning is only mediocre and the rinsing is terrible. Even using an extra rinse cycle, my dark cottons come out with streaks and splashes of white, from the detergent, and look unsightly. These streaks have to be sponged off by hand with a wet towel or they will still be visible after drying the clothes.
Summary: Self destructed after 2 years of very light useage. Did poor job of cleaning clothes in the meantime. Required monthy bleach purging to control odors caused by water left in lower drum apparently needed for their high efficency cycle. According to the repair service this washer has the most problems. A complete waste of $600. It deserves no stars as does Whirlpool who once made decent products.
Excerpt: I have owned this washer for about a year and a half and will never own another washer without the agitator. This washer does not use enough water. My clothes come out with dry spots where water never touched them. I very often have to run a load thru twice to get them clean. I also have to run a load thru two spin cycles to get all the water out. It is not ECO friendly or efficient at ALL. DO NOT BUY this washer.
Pros: Ease of Use
Cons: Cleanability, Design, Energy efficiency, Performance, Quality, Value
Summary: I have never taken the time to review any thing before, but this is such a bad washer that i felt i had to warn people. I bought this washer because of the great reviews. This washer has ruined hundreds of dollars in clothes. It stains with grease from inside the washer. Clothes do not get clean at all. Total waste of money. Do not buy this washer.
