Conclusion: After 2 years, all clothes came out wet. There was nothing block the drain pipe. After seach the internet, I noticed there were tons of complains related to this. The cause could be a poor quality lid switch. I was not sure if this was my case because I did not bother to try it. I will purchase a new one to replace but not a WhirlPool name any more. With a look brand new but not working washer in my basement. I would not recommend this model to any one.
Conclusion: I have owned HE machines before, but this washer is the pits. I have to rinse my clothes sometimes 3 times to get all the soap out, it gets off balance all the time, which means I can't put a load in and leave it. I'm very disappointed in whirlpool and would not by whirlpool again.
Conclusion: I have had this machine for a year and really dislike it. I have to add water to the tub from the faucet, making the load weigh more so that the sensors will fill the tub with more water. Otherwise, the clothes do not get clean. The lack of an agitator sound good, but again the clothes do not get clean. The locking system is a hassle when you want to add another article into the machine after it starts.
Cons: Ease of Use, Performance, Design, Cleanability
Conclusion: The product design, features, performance and quality of the WTW4800XQ2 is pathetic. Life would be more efficient to use an old fashioned washboard and tub. This unit is receiving a poor rating because I can wash two loads in my 1999 Whirlpool model to one load in this 2012 model. The sensors on this machine constantly stop the washing cycle throughout the washing process. The lid has an auto lock that doesn't allow you to freely add garments.
Cons: Ease of Use, Quality, Value, Features, Performance, slow
Conclusion: I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed with the machine. It does get clothes clean but so do all of them. It is not consumer friendly. I hate the locking feature. I am 70 years old & do not need a machine to lock me out so I don't get my hands caught in it. Shutting the stupid thing down often takes time that I consider wasted. When I want to spin the excess water out of a few things that I washed by hand it doesn't like it.

Conclusion: I love the capacity of this product. It is a lot bigger than it looks. The warm cycle is excellent in the fact that it switches between the combination of the hot/cold to that of the cold. That is an energy savings to me. One thing I don't like is the fact that at the initial start-up of the wash cycle it seems to be a shorter period between that and the actual agitation of the wash.
Pros: Style, Innovative, Easy to Use, Performance, Energy Savings, Convenient Features, Design
