Summary: Both the washer and the dryer are very nice. Work as expected for a washer/dryer of this price range. No issues found. Self-installed with no problem. Is quiet and seems to be using less water. Looking at it while it washes I an surprised to see not that much water but somehow the clothes come out fine. The only complain is the lock button which is supposed to lock the buttons. My 2-year figured it out in a couple of days.
Summary: I like this washer. It is so pretty and modern looking. It takes 50 mins for an average cycle but the clothes come out very dry. It is also very quiet, so much so I can hardly hear it when I am 10 feet away. It has a TON of cycles and even has a cycle where it cleans itself. The only thing I was hoping was different is that I am still going to have to wash my overstuffed cal king comforter at the laundry mat.
Summary: I suspect that we are at the beginning of the technology curve for these HE washers. I look forward to seeing better in the future. I would like to see the cycle times cut. These products take a long time. Also....I don't have toddler around...But, my gosh....It is instructed to keep the washer door opened??? [...] Also, if the washer in in a closet...how to allow room for the door to be left ajar?Aside from the above, I find the washer easy to use and does a great job.
Summary: Only second washing machine I've ever owned. Previous was Kenmore. Love this new Whirlpool. Unbelievable how clean the clothes get and how much you can wash affectively at one time. A lot less time spent doing laundry.
