Great while it lasted

Tommy, AJ Madison
24 April 2014
  • Summary: Glad it's discontinued. Ours lasted 3 years before the bearings went out. $1575 just for parts. Obviously disappointed in Whirlpool. We enjoyed it but c'mon. 3 years?

This machine is a lemon

CF128, AJ Madison
6 June 2013
  • Summary: I have had nothing but problems with this machine. I have had it repaired 4 times in less than 4 years and now they have decided to do a buy out on my warranty. Which sounds good, but leaves me with a mismatched set because I bought the dryer as well. The dryer has been great.

Unsatisfactory Product

Anonymous, AJ Madison
18 July 2012
  • Summary: After 29 months the machine stopped working with weekly use. The problem--the computer board- repair estimated at $450. The machine only cost $599! Whirlpool is not living up to its reputation of reliability.

great dryer!

Mamu, AJ Madison
16 September 2009
  • Summary: I am also pleased with my new dryer. The golf shirts come out nice, as I take them out before they are dry and they look great! I hated to give up my gas dryer but I have been very pleased having to switch to an electric dryer.

  • Summary: Both the washer and the dryer are very nice. Work as expected for a washer/dryer of this price range. No issues found. Self-installed with no problem. Is quiet and seems to be using less water.

Beautiful Washer

Ali, AJ Madison
12 December 2008
  • Summary: I like this washer. It is so pretty and modern looking. It takes 50 mins for an average cycle but the clothes come out very dry. It is also very quiet, so much so I can hardly hear it when I am 10 feet away. It has a TON of cycles and even has a cycle where it cleans itself.

Worth the Price

Anonymous, AJ Madison
3 November 2008
  • Summary: After only 8 years my Maytag Neptune washer was not worth fixing and I still wanted to use a front loading machine. I chose the Whirlpool Duet set for their reliability and for the last of the few remaining bisque color, since my laundry room is visible and I didn't want to redecorate my whole...

  • Summary: I wash everything in this - from heavy blankets to hand wash. It works great. It gets my stuff really clean - and the high speed spin saves a lot on drying.
