  • Excerpt: I was a bit intimidated at first with all the features as this is my first HE washer but found it was very user friendly. Washes the great & was everything I expected. The only thing I don't like is it takes a long time to wash & you have to make sure that you clean it at least once a month.

  • Excerpt: I just purchased this machine and already notice an improvement from my old machine. What I especially like is how well my clothes are spun dry. I know as I continue to try the different features I will improve my laundering skills and save my clothes on wear and tear.

  • Excerpt: Recently purchased this model. It was my first front loading washer. It was hard to spend so much on a washer, but it works so much better than any other washer I've had. I actually enjoy using it because of all the features and the alarm tones are so pleasant compared to others!

We're pleased with the washer's overall performance, but think it's a bother to have to wipe it down when we're done.

  • Conclusion: After speaking to family members and sales people from 4 stores, we decided on staying with the Whirlpool brand (old washer & dryer were Whirlpool, 26 years old), and selected the Duet front load. Cleans fine.

Takes a long time to get started

iamdave, RC Willey
24 December 2013
  • Conclusion: We would be happy to give this machine very high marks for all the areas of concern except that it takes so long to get started. Frequently, we have to wait a long time before we can be sure that it will start so we have to stand there and watch to make sure it actually does start.
