Samsung washer - state of the art electronics, poor mechanical design
15 August 2014
Summary: Length:: 0:12 Mins This review if for the exact same washer with steam (WF350). Absolutely identical with WF330, 350 has a steam add-on, everything else is absolutely identical. Very nice washer, state-of-the-art inverter controlled stepper like motor and electronic control, nice design, but has a major flaw. After 4 years (from my investigations most will fail in about 4-6 years) the so called "spider" will catastrophically collapse (one arm will brake).
turns out it's the motherboard so yeah we got more use out of it than quite a few folks but 5 years for a $900 washing machine i

Summary: AVOID! Would not purchase a Samsung washing machine! We bought one a but a different but similar model....Broke after 5 years, turns out it's the motherboard so yeah we got more use out of it than quite a few folks but 5 years for a $900 washing machine is not good...Our $1700 Samsung Tv is messed up after 4 years so I think we're done with samsung...I've read some reviews with folks saying they clean clothes "better" and I even thinks it's advertised as such...
Summary: The drain pump failed on this washer after two years. I refuse to have it replaced. Too expensive. Instead I'm limping along by manually draining it from the tube on the front into a bucket. I have to do this everytime the nd code shows which means not draining. And this happens almost every other wash. I hate this washing machine.
RUN AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!! THIS THING IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!

Summary: I bought this piece of junk in 2011 for $899 plus tax. A year later it stopped going through a full self clean cycle. In 2014 only three years old, the repair man tells me it needs new shocks and a new drum flange. This was a repair man through Lowes recommended to work on Samsung. The service charge was $119. If I want to go ahead with the repairs, add $477!! I just went out and bought another washer for $479. I don't even know what brand it is.
Summary: I purchased this washer but in Red.. was so excited to get my first front load washer.. I have 5 children.. so I needed something that was going to last and clean efficiently without killing my utility bills. This washer worked great for a year or so.. Now it is having spin issues..Spins very slowly and rocks back n forth.. We checked to make sure it was level and it was perfectly level. Called a repairman and he told me the drum bearings go bad.
Summary: We have the WF330 at a vacation home. Several months of use and the flimsy plastic door lock mechanism totally self destructed. This washer had little use and the door was always gently closed. Clearly a poor design. Customer service at Samsung is non existent. Same customer service problems with a Samsung Security Camera System I have.
Summary: Bought the unit elsewhere, have used it for 4 years, at 3 years (well out of warrenty) we found that the drum had been installed wrong and it ate through the tub, Samsung, after much hounding from my certified repairman, replaced the parts but I had to pay for labor. A year later, more issues and more money down the drain. Not happy.
Summary: Got it in June 2010. It's dead in March 2014 (water pump is broken). Sears extended warranty: two weeks for the service to arrive. Past experience: mostly OK, except (1) the rubber seal is extremely moldy and (2) there is no "drain" mode.
Summary: We are very happy with this washing machine. It is very user friendly; easy to read the front of the machine to do the type of material you wish to wash. It is very quiet running and has a set tone to set when completed washing. I could recommend this washing machine to anyone who was interested.
