Anonymous, AJ Madison
  • Summary: Just had the repair guy out. Broken spinner support and wash basket. Needs Tub Assembly. Cost is beyond replacement cost. Washer only lasted 4 years. Basically, I need to replace it. Not happy. Please don't make the same costly mistake by purchasing one.

Smart washer is pretty dumb

Oakes A., Amazon
7 July 2014
  • Summary: Doesn't complete spin. The load cycles back and forth between rinse and spin in an effort to balance itself. Yes, it's level. This smart washer is pretty dumb.

Terrible washer. Don't buy it

selbydebbie, Amazon
22 June 2014
  • Summary: The drain pump failed on this washer after two years. I refuse to have it replaced. Too expensive. Instead I'm limping along by manually draining it from the tube on the front into a bucket. I have to do this everytime the nd code shows which means not draining.

RUN AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!! THIS THING IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!

Mike Stewart, Amazon
28 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this piece of junk in 2011 for $899 plus tax. A year later it stopped going through a full self clean cycle. In 2014 only three years old, the repair man tells me it needs new shocks and a new drum flange. This was a repair man through Lowes recommended to work on Samsung.

Door Lock Broke

JB, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: We have the WF330 at a vacation home. Several months of use and the flimsy plastic door lock mechanism totally self destructed. This washer had little use and the door was always gently closed. Clearly a poor design. Customer service at Samsung is non existent.

  • Summary: Bought the unit elsewhere, have used it for 4 years, at 3 years (well out of warrenty) we found that the drum had been installed wrong and it ate through the tub, Samsung, after much hounding from my certified repairman, replaced the parts but I had to pay for labor.

  • Summary: Got it in June 2010. It's dead in March 2014 (water pump is broken). Sears extended warranty: two weeks for the service to arrive. Past experience: mostly OK, except (1) the rubber seal is extremely moldy and (2) there is no "drain" mode.
