Summary: I bought this washer because of the load capacity. It has a very large capacity and adds water by sensor. You cannot wash a large load of laundry. The washer never puts enough water to cover the load. I have had to reset the washer several times to get it to put enough water. I would not recommend this product to anyone. When washing even a small load of laundry, there is still not enough water.
Summary: Bleach dispenser rusted in about a year. Didn't find it until after warranty because rust was under blue plastic. Samsung said too bad. Search here and elsewhere - It is design defect - others have had same problem.

Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!! This Samsung WA5451, 4.7 cu. ft. capacity product seemed to be a dream come true ... at first. Then, in just over a year, it began to rust around the soap and bleach dispensers -just after the warranty expired. Interestingly, the Samsung warranty doesn't cover it's products rusting at any time!
Summary: In my 65+ years of life, I have owned several clothes washers. I have owned this Samsung for nearly two years, and it is undoubtedly the worst ever. It does not put enough water into the machine to even cover the clothes, and the clothes on top of the load just sit there and do not get agitated. The only way to correct this is to use the "Bedding" setting, and then the machine fills to the top with water, which defeats the whole purpose of an eco-friendly washer.
Summary: After only 7months tub fell to floor and flooded laundry room. Took 6 weeks to fix because it also tore up motor or something that is under tub.Repair man said even though it was large capacity only fill about half full because tub was held up with plastic. Did that and 3 months later same thing has happened waiting on repair man. Samsung informed me that without extended warrenty they would not cover it next time.
Summary: I have had this washer for 2 years and it still runs fine. I did make the switch from powder to liquid detergent. But I still don't care for the way it washes. I throw extra water in to wet the laundry and make the load heavier before turning it on so I get more water. But I also have to shake the laundry out before washing. Wash water drains through the clothes and out the bottom.
