Don't buy - 1 star because I can't give zero stars.

Mandie, Amazon
  • Summary: Love everything about this washer except that it flooded half of my brand new house when the pump broke off and the water kept running. After being repaired, it broke off again and spilled water all over my laundry room. We will be purchasing a different washer this time, not letting this happen again.

WARNING: House wrecking residential flood device!

Vulcan "Vulcan", Amazon
  • Summary: This is the worst engineered washing machine in history. Forget the people who complain about the washing quality. It is doomed to break itself in grave ways. I have seen a lot of washing machines so all the design flaws are obvious. Plastic parts where you must use metal, hoses held on by trivial clamps, motor attached to heavily vibrating drum instead of stable machine, the list goes on.

Do not buy Samsung washer; your clothes will not get cleaned with their energy star design water saving feature

Samsung, Amazon
19 June 2014
  • Summary: I bought WA50F9A7DSP from Lowes not long ago. For any cycle I used, it never give enough water to wash. if my clothes are 3 inch high, it gave me 1 inch water. after the cycle my clothes are still smell as if dirty. I called samsung 5 times get one time to talk to a real person, and she claims this is an energy star design, saving water is by design. I told her I do not need your saving water design, I need enough water to get my towles or clothes washed and cleaned.

This review from another Samsung washer may be very helpful

John Mundie, Amazon
11 June 2014
  • Summary: This review is from: Samsung WA422PRHDWR 4.2 Cu. Ft. White Top Load Washer - Energy Star: Like the sun also rises, the drain pump fell out of our Samsung WA422 washing machine, turning it into a piece of junk and a huge waste of money. If you look up LEMON in my dictionary you will find two definitions. The first is the yellow citrus fruit and the second is a picture of this washing machine. We bought ours a year and 4 months ago.

Bad drain pump and computer after 14 months

Melissa Crafton, Amazon
4 June 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this washing machine from lowes at the beginning of 2013. In March 2014, 1 month outside of its warranty I heard the washing machine make a loud bang during the spin cycle. I went into the laundry room to find water all over the place. Samsung did not provide assistance since it was outside of warranty but requested a technician to come check it out.

Awful product In So Many Respects: stay away

Samsunk, Amazon
3 June 2014
  • Summary: Almost exactly 2 months following the 12 month warranty period expired, this washer went into a wild and very violent spin cycle that was caused by a broken spider fastener under the drum. The drum became off-center and caused damage to the top and bottom seals -- one rubber on the top and one chrome on the bottom. Following a few fruitless calls to customer service, I learned that although the drum was guaranteed for 3 years, the rest of the mechanicals were not.

Do not Buy Samsung Washer Unless you like waiting for parts

TxRattler, Amazon
12 May 2014
  • Summary: We bought this washer and have had to have three parts replaced (same on twice). It takes Samsung 2-3 weeks to ship the parts to the repairman, so you end up with a machine being broken for over a month. Have it for 17 months and it has been down for 3 of those. Don't blame the repairman, the blame is all on Samsung for not providing a better product or supply chain.

great features, very quiet

jreno, RC Willey
21 April 2014
  • Conclusion: lots of awesome features. the only thing that bothers me is that i live in an older house and the "laundry room" (which is more like a closet) is too small for the machine to fit and have the doors close properly.
  • Pros: Energy Efficient, Easy Controls, Spins Clothes Dry, Adjustable Settings, Large Capacity, Quiet, Cleans Clothes Well

  • Conclusion: I absolutely love love love this washing machine!! I can wash twice at many clothes than with my old washer and the clothes come out nice and clean!!! Also I love the music it plays when the cycle is done, it's quiet enough that it doesn't wake up my 3 boys but load enough I can hear it!! I would definitely buy this washing machine again!

Outstanding Samsung Washer

sitebum, RC Willey
14 April 2014
  • Conclusion: Nice to have a new washer. I chose this Samsung because of the high ratings on the net, the ease of use and quality of the product. I have not been disappointed. I can wash twice the amount of clothes than before, my clothes are better cleaned and the washer seems to do all this while not damaging my dress clothes. The washer has many options, more things are automatic and the washer is very quiet compared to my older washer.
