Summary: Purchased July 6, 2013, was told this was a flawless washer to replace my not so flawless GE front loader that was only 6 years old. Now I'm singing praises for the GE. Of course, it's three months past the warranty and the pump housing completely ripped away from the machine, flooding my floors.
Summary: I had the same issue with this machine with the drain pump cracking. Found the repair kit online part number DC-01877B. My machine was manufactured before Dec. 2012 and the pump now mounts to the base instead of upside down on the tub.

Summary: Total piece of garbage. The drain pump has been replaced twice on my machine, and it still an issue. Look forward to this machine flooding your house at least once. Also, Samsung support is the definition of unhelpful.
Disregard the other reviews on other websites, they are wrong. DO NOT BUY!!!

Summary: STAY AWAY!!! Just as everyone else has posted I have the exact same issue with my washing machine where the housing broke and damaged the pump. Now after three failed attempts to get the correct part I have found that the replacement kit (which is about $130-140) does not fit my washing machine...
Summary: This machine has been a nightmare. What a waste of water! It will refill and dump over and over trying to balance. I even have an extended warranty and techs have come out and told us there is nothing they can do...What a joke. What good is the warranty if it can't even be fixed.
Don't buy this washer! Broken discharge pump bracket after 17 months of use.

Summary: We purchased this washer in Feb 2013 and this weekend the plastic bracket supporting the discharge pump broke and flooded our bathroom/laundry area. Samsung is aware of this design flaw however because the warranty is only good for 12 months they will not replace the part but will sell us a "kit" to...
Summary: Well it happened to me too. Pump bracket failure followed by a flood in my laundry room and into the hallway. I'm very disappointed in Samsung and will not be purchasing anything from them in the future. They can keep their Chinese made junk! Update 7/18; Scott B.

Summary: Yep, tonight was my turn to endure the dreaded pump bracket failure. Thankfully, I was IN the laundry room folding clothes when it happened. The sensation of wet toes anywhere other than the tub in my house certainly got my attention. Anyone else up for a class action suit?
The pump will fall off. It is just a matter of when.

Summary: The drain pump mount is an engineering flaw. Mine fell off 6 months after the warranty ended. The "Geek Squad" tech knew exactly what the problem was when I called. I called Samsung and spoke to customer service and basically was told " we are sorry but it is out of warranty, is there anything else...
