Summary: Hi all. Here are the facts: About a year and a half ago, we were in the market for a washer and dryer. We decided on the WA400PJHDWR/AA primarily for its reliability as reported by consumers reports (I believe).
Summary: Washer does not use enough water in any of the cycles to properly clean or rinse the clothes. Clothes come out covered with lint and debris. I always use the extra rinse cycle to help remove excess film, but it doesn't ever help.
Summary: I was so happy with this washing machine when I first bought it from Lowes. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty. I bought this unit in January 9, 2013. In March 2014 it was giving me the code that the washer couldn't drain.
Summary: We purchased this washer and immediately noticed it does not clean clothes very well. The load must be reduced considerably for it to wash the clothes. This machine also broke with the pump ripping from the plastic bracket. Had we not been around, the water would have continued to run.
INCREDIBLE - IT FELL APART WHILE WASHING A COMFORTER @ 9 MONTHS OLD!!

Summary: Someone else posted about this, and I would not believe it if it did not just happen to us tonight! Washing a comforter.... heard a loud noise at the end of the spin cycle.... a banging noise. Washer stops and there's water all over the floor.
Summary: At first I loved this washer, then, like all the others the pump broke, of course I was two months past the one year warranty, we tried to order the pump it was unavailable, took 5 phone calls to try to get someone to fix it...
Worked pretty well until 2 days after warranty expiration.

Summary: I wish I read the reviews here first. Water is dumping out from the bottom of the machine during the initial cycle. Didn't expect anything like that after a year. Looks like a common problem with this model. Samsung offered a one time courtesy repair since I am so close to warranty expiration date..
Summary: I have had this machine for 1 yr and six months. I am about to get the fifth repair on this machine this week. The machine has several flaws. The plastic pump is in a location that has high vibration and fails (on my machine now for the forth time) many including myself report the flooding that...
Summary: I loved it until this last week. It's quiet, cleans well, has adjustable settings -- up until now, the only thing I haven't liked is that it does not have a separate "soak" cycle (although that may not be possible with an HE machine).
Summary: Save yourself the worst headache of your life. This machine will break after 6 months and it may ruin your floor, drywall, and subfloor. Samsung warranty is a joke. Most positive reviews of this machine is just weeks after their purchase, or they are fake.
