Excerpt: This washing machine does not have an agitator. I have never heard of this before. It takes some getting used to. You must not put any items on top of the propeller that is in it's place or you will ruin your clothes and possibly the agitator. This machine has a locking lid which is very difficult to open once the cycle has started. It makes some very odd noises, but they are normal.
Excerpt: A great washer for the price. It doesn't handle extremely large loads, but it's efficient and relatively quick - nothing spectacular but it'll wash a load in 20 to 30 minutes. Usually it's done before I even think to check the load.
Summary: I hate this washing machine. I have quite capably been doing laundry with a variety of machines for the past 40 years. This is the worst machine I have ever used. Did I say ever? The clothes do not get clean, it is ridiculous trying to build a ring of clothing around the inside of the machine when loading the wash and there is no way to do a short cycle. It takes 55 minutes to do one load of laundry!!!!
Excerpt: I do not like the fact that you can not control the water level. I asked the salesman about it and he told me that it fills according to the weight of the clothes. Well, every time I do laundry, I go down after it starts agitating and open the lid in order for it to fill completely. Most of the time, I find the washer only half full of water. Will not buy another washer that you can not control water levels.
Excerpt: I was pretty disappointed in it overall. To be a $600 washer, the cons associated with it outweigh the benefits of what I expect from a Maytag washer. You can't "soak" clothes in it as it will automatically drain water after 10 minutes. The settings will get all messed up if you have to "stop" the cycle to add something, etc. Sometimes it will wash 2 or 3 times before you realize it is still going through the cycle multiple times.
