Excerpt: Be sure you read up and understand HE washers before you buy. I used to pre-treat food and other type stains; now I pre-treat EVERYTHING. This machine does not agitate your items to get them clean. It is a gentle motion that runs on minimal water and I, for one, don't think it cleans as well as agitation machines. Getting used to HE cleaning is a process. It is, however, a very high tech machine with settings for every conceivable washing need.
Pros: Adjustable Settings, Energy Efficient, Large Capacity, Quiet, Spins Clothes Dry
Excerpt: I bought a stakable Maytag washer and drier. They both work nicely and wash and dry very well. They fit into the space in my small apt and both of them have large capacity which I did not think that was possible since my previous ones were smaller. I do large quantities of clothing and they wash and dry nicely.<br />The only complain is that both of them are noise during the changing cycles and drying time However it is not such a big deal.
Pros: Adjustable Settings, Clean Clothes Well, Energy Efficient, Large Capacity, Spins Clothes Dry
Summary: I purchased the Maytag Front Load Washer about a month ago and I am so pleased with the results. First of all, it was terrific dealing with AJ Madison and secondly, the washer has proven to be all that I wanted. Easy to operate, clothes are almost dry when cycle done. Extremely quiet, and nice looking. I had a Whirlpool Duet Sport which was so noisy that everyone commented on it. Very pleased, to say the least.
Excerpt: I purchased this prodcut for my brother's house warming gift. He moved to Newnan and bought his new house. I thought that other brand would be good for him at first, but I looked at Maytag especially this one, and one gentle man working there explained about this product. After my brother used it, he loved it so much!!! He said that it is very quiet and he is very satisfied with it.
Summary: After reading various reviews indicating maintenance problems with front loaders, we've been cautiously waiting for something to happen. We've had it for over a month and so far it's been working fine. Make sure you put it on a stable surface and properly level it because it spins very fast and with small loads can become somewhat unbalanced. Does everything it promises, altho given the number of options laid out in the manual you may need a license to drive it.
