Summary: This is the worst washing machine that I have ever owned. The machine is always unbalanced and will stop all the time, so if you are not home the laundry does not get washed. If you put a sheet in the washer then this sheet will wrap around everything else in the washer and nothing gets clean. I received a letter in mail from LG about the unbalance issue with the machine, so we has someone come out to fix the machine. What a mistake.....
Summary: Washes OK... not so great with bulky bedding items that float to the top. I like the sanitary cycle options. 1st problem was with a loose wire that prevented the drainage pump from working. Happened a month after the 1 year warranty expired...Now it makes a terrible squeaking grinding noise when it washes. Service crew coming out tomorrow. I'll update the review with what happened. If you must get this washer get the extended warranty. Update: Service guy just left.
Summary: We bought the LG WT5101HW in Nov. of 2010. I did a lot of research before purchasing a washer. My main criteria: large capacity, quiet operation (low vibration) since the laundry room is on the second floor along with the bedrooms, and thorough spin so the clothes aren't overly wet before putting them into the dryer. I can verify that our machine is extremely quiet and produces very little vibration.
Summary: I purchased this washer new at HHgregg in jan. 2012.It was a 2010 model.Worst nightmare.I had the Lg repairman out 3 times to fix the same problem. Each repair was a replacement part. After the third time I was told that I can get the newer model.I am very uncomfortable getting another Lg product. You HAVE to do large loads only.Every time I did a smaller load it would stop midway and uneven load sign IU would appear.I had to stop the load, rearrange the clothes and respin...
Summary: With only 1 year this machine one day started a horrible noise and the top came off. I never heard of a washing machine coming apart in that way. It actually moved 45 degrees and hit the dryer machine. The drum spinned withouth control against everything. I would not recommend this machine and what is even worst is the LG customer service.
Summary: I researched washer reviews online and found many more negatives than positives on the latest so-called water saving technology in today's new washing machines. This top load washer seemed to have many more positive customer reviews and i took a chance. And after 9 months of use, 2 loads a day, i agree, it is wonderful. It has a huge capacity. Easy to use. Reasonable wash times. And a happy tune plays when it is done. Thank goodness I picked this one.
Summary: Length:: 0:46 Mins I have had the machine about 7 weeks. After 3 weeks, the machine would not balance a load and would bang VERY loudly when I washed a load. Like another reviewer, I had to be present whenever I washed clothes and jump when the noise started so that I could rebalance the load. I called LG and the first technician that came out treated me like a dumb housewife(neither of which I am) and said the machine was just fine.
terrible machine, but LG did refund for both washer and dryer

Summary: I purchased this supposedly great washer last May 2011, my clothes were always wadded up in knots, literally. I would have to go out and untie them during wash and rinse. I finally called repair, first guy came out was a total moron, did not even look at the washer, told me I was basically a dumb blonde. I called LG back and they send another company out and had to replace this and that. It wasn't fixed, so they send him back out and he replaced the drain motor.
Summary: Length:: 0:24 Mins Deserves 0 stars. I had two of these. First one left water in the bottom at the end of the cycle. And, it leaked at the bottom. Returned it and got another. Not a good decision. First of all, if you put a bedsheet in with several towels, since there is no agitator, the bedsheet gets stretched taught at the top and it will be wrapped around anything else in the washer at the edges. You could literally tap it in the middle and it's as tight as a drum.
Summary: It's hard to know where to start when attempting to review this washer. I have formed a love/hate relationship with it, which I'll attempt to explain. Pros: Cavernous capacity Relatively silent Many different programs (also see Cons) Clothes come out damp dry Does a generally good job of cleaning Cons: Superficial documentation Water level sometimes seems inadequate for the amount of wash Clothes tend to tangle Cycles can take a long time Warm seems lukewarm; Hot seems...
