Conclusion: To do a simple load of wash it should not take more than an hour. More time is wasted with useless spinning and sensing than is spent washing. I'd like to have a bigger say in how much water is used for any given load. There is no way to override the settings.
Summary: Pros: *Good cleaning ability *Clothes come out drier than most washers so they spend less time in the dryer *Quiet *Clear lid allows you to see if articles are in the machine without opening the lid *Front controls Cons: *Worst customer service I've ever experienced (started getting "DE" door error...
Conclusion: I'd rather be using my wringer washer I started with 45 years ago. This machine is a water waster and my water bill has never been so high for just two people than it has been since I got this washer. It is forever going off balance and the guy said it is balanced correctly.
Conclusion: Regarding the front panel buttons and options: It is unnessarily complicated. There is a power button and a seperate start/pause button. I frequently hit the power button when I mean to hit the pause button.
Conclusion: I am getting tired of redistributing my laundry. I am careful about what I put in there but should you really have to calculate the size and weight of your items and distribute them equally in order to do laundry.
Disappointed - constant unbalance issues with bedding

Summary: I was excited to purchase this machine with such great reviews, but shortly after install i learned you cannot wash water-proof materials. While I thought I could overlook that downfall, I have CONSTANT "unbalance" issues. I'm not sure I can wash any bedding without having a uE code.
Conclusion: Wow, after reading all the reviews at different sources, I believed this would be the best washing machine ever. Wrong! It gets out of balance so often that I can't leave the immediate area so I can stop it from refilling to try to balance.
If you are coming from a conventional, top-loading washer, be aware of the following.
25 August 2013
Summary: So I got this top-loading LG HE washer as a replacement for my 14-year-old top-loading Kenmore washer that eventually failed. This LG was the highest rated washer by a leading consumer reports magazine, and that's why I bought it.
Conclusion: We bought this thinking it would be the greatest new laundry solution and the design and function is less than satisfactory. The slope means nothing can sit on top of the machines securely and the wash/dry to seems to be incredibly long if you want to use anything but cold tap water.
