Summary: Lasted 10 months with light use of one person. Called for repair just befor vacation to report trouble with lg. Called after I returned and lg is telling me waranty is up and they will get back with me. They wanted me to fax proof of purchase etc. Looks like they are looking to bail on thair inferior product.
Summary: I have been using this washer for over a year now. It is expensive but it is what my wife wanted. It can spin up to 1400 RPM. What does this mean? It means your laundry will come out drier and it will take less time to dry your laundry. Furthermore, it has a huge capacity and its direct drive motor along with its AI can handle very large comforters.
Summary: Bought the machine in September 2011 and it lasted a little more than 30 days. The machine kept on giving me an LE error. I would not expect that kind of failure for such an expensive machine. LG sent the repairman 3 times and replaced two parts to get it fix. It is working thus far. So quality is quite an issue and want to warn all about it.
Summary: Washer washes fine. Machine is quiet and uses a small amount of water. However after just four months there is rust developing around the dispenser tray and the drain tube door. LG trying not to replace machine just touch it up. Their service tech said to replace the machine. Time will tell.
Summary: The washer works great. The problem is with the front control panel, the lettering that is silk screened with the various settings around the control knob rubbed off after I brushed my fingertip against it. I wonder if this is a common problem with this model. We have had this washer since Dec. 2010.
Summary: I got my pair of LG washer/dryer today, literally spent two hours observing how they work, I must say these are more like intelligent robots than washing machine. I gave it a full size comforter as the the first test, it spun a bit, telling it's a bulky load, it then spun forward and backward, making sure the load was balanced, before it went into full spin on rinse cycle. That's simply amazing.
Summary: We purchased the LG WM3875HVCA washer exactly four months ago. Last week it stopped working and when a repair man came out to assess the problem he found that it needs to have multiple major parts replaced (i.e. inner tub, outer tub, circuit board, etc). This machine is completely broken and non-functional after four months! Bear in mind that we were not even heavy users of the machine - we are only two people and only used it a couple of times per week.
