Summary: One of the first things that impressed me was the load sensing feature. This is not your grandma's washer. The drum is direct drive, so it responds immediately to the electronic instructions it is given.
Summary: I owned an LG WD before for about 13 years...I sold it with my house. In my new home, my builder put in some Magtag units that were horrible. I had him take them out and refund me..for the same cost I bought these. Wow!! Night and day between the LG and Maytag.

Summary: My Whirlpool Duet washing machine broke after 9+ years, and, after much research and price-checking, I decided to replace it with this LG model. I haven't regretted it! The LG is much quieter, and even the high spin cycle doesn't shake the house from its home on the second floor.
Summary: My husband wanted to replace our old washer and dryer as soon as one started squeaking but I resisted. Boy, do I wish we had purchased these a year ago-- LAUNDRY IS A JOY. I do half the number of loads and I can tell that the clothes appreciate the gentle wash and dry they receive with these LG...
Summary: "Have had the washer a bit over month with about 40 loads through it. I was very impressed with it from the get go, and it was very easy to use. It is very energy efficient and uses about a tenth of the water our old machine did. "
Pros: Quiet, Extremely Clean Clothes, Steam Cycle Rocks, Energy Efficient
